    Can’t wait for version 6.5
    It will add “Unity” feature, that like in “fusion” version on Mac let you use (at least show) windows from VM on your desktop, instead of inside VM window as it is right now.
    And the most important it finally will add some basic (at least) DX9 support

    On v6.5 beta1 I’ve played Quake3 and TrackManiaNations.
    Unfortunately Vista’s Aero still doesn’t work

    Iam having problems unraring this file. The 1st unrar worked then when I try to unrar embrace.rar i get an error need \VMware.Workstation.v6.0.4.93057.Incl.Keymaker-EMBRACE\embrace.r00. Any ideas?

    Why would you like to play a video game on a VM…
    Not having a gaming computer is no excuse…

    Anyhow this is the same as virtual box but w/ bells and whistles. You can also download vmware server for free just like virtualpc from M$.

    Why do people take a multiple rar archive consisting of 64 files. Zip those 64 rar files.
    Then turn it into 4 rar files that are 100 mb or less?

    I understand the last step is because of rapidshare but why would you zip up each rar file?

    It is more time for the person putting out this release as well as the people trying to try it.

    Microsoft’s competition product, Virtual PC is free, as well as previously mentioned VirtualBox.
    I started to use VPC’s to download stuff. Great if it gets infected, just delete the machine! hah!

    +1 for VPC.

    Vmware getting too bloatware and install unneeded Network Service on Host OS. Running down CPU process with Vmware. VPC just nice and light.
