Violent Cop 1990 WS DVDRip XviD-AXIAL

I will watch this for sure! Why? There are two things why I’m gonna watch this film that I never earlier heard of. Takeshi Kitano stars and has directed this film and the movie has a very good rating for it’s genre. People who know Takeshi Kitano and haven’t seen this, I’m sure you will do now. The ones who like something different action than the American standards, here you are. Enjoy!

In his directorial debut, famed Japanese personality Takeshi Kitano (acting under the alias Beat Takeshi) plays Azuma, a brutal but honorable cop at the end of his rope. Azuma’s trying daily routine involves dealing with a naive new partner and caring for his drug-dependent, mentally challenged sister. When a friend on the police force is killed and his sister is kidnapped by drug dealers, Azuma begins walking a mercilessly vengeful path that leads to a shocking finale.

VIOLENT COP is a stunning first feature from Kitano, who took over for veteran director Kinji Fukasaku after he left the project. Primarily known as a television comedian, Kitano rewrote the script to better suit his surprisingly dark vision of the film, which serves an intriguing introduction to his unique directorial style, combining scenes of extreme violence with beautifully meditative shots. Elevating the then-waning yakuza genre to a more artistic level, Kitano’s film is a landmark in late 20th century Japanese cinema.

Excellent MIKE!!! There is a treasure trove of old Japanese movies that set the standard Japanese cinema. Pink’s Gang… is a series that I hope will find a home here.

There should be a guide to Asian movie torrents, but just a few tips, the majority of these movies are going to be soft-subbed because it’s actually the best way to do it. (Because the home movie editor can change the color, size, font, ect of the subs)
For Zedkhov, a good video conversion program like ConvertXtoDVD will convert a soft-subbed movie to DVD with SELECTABLE subs, which will work on your big TV no problem. I convert these movies to DVD all the time in about an hour and watch them on a portable DVD player with the subs incl.

I have heard a lot of great things about this movie, and I have been a fan of Kitanos since Battle Royale. I know the Japanese audience found it hard to make the transition from Kitano’s TV comedian persona to his ruthless, villainous portrayal of the 9th grade school teacher in charge of the BR project…but not myself. He is one of the greatest actors to come out of Japan IMO.
