SKIDROW released an action puzzle game “Vessel”. Vessel is a indie puzzle platformer with an emphasis on fluid physics. Enjoy!

Description: Vessel is a 2D action and puzzle game featuring the unique ability to simulate characters composed entirely of fluid. Arkwright, inventor of the world famous Fluro (mechanized-fluid automaton) is on a quest to finish his next great invention – The Device – that will alter existence in unimaginable ways. However, Fluros begin to mutate and run amok, and it’s up to Arkwright to understand (and exploit) these strange evolutions. Explore physically modeled worlds, solve puzzles by controlling fluid and machines, and harness the power of the mysterious Fluro creatures that populate the land. Living liquid machines have overrun this world of unstoppable progress, and it is the role of their inventor, Arkwright, to stop the chaos they are causing. Vessel is a game about a man with the power to bring ordinary matter to life, and all the consequences that ensue.

Features:

  • Liquid Gameplay – Vessel is built on an optimized liquid simulation featuring flowing water, scalding lava and steam, reactant chemicals, glowing goo, the mysterious ‘protoplasm’, and more. Each liquid has unique properties and mixes with other liquids for dramatic effects.
  • Bring Liquid to Life – Interact with ‘Fluro’ creatures that are formed entirely from simulated liquid. Each retains the properties of the liquid they’re made of, giving them the ability to melt, reform, absorb, explode, and more.
  • Unique Puzzles – Solve puzzles by combining the unique behaviors of each creature with the fluid they’re created from. Every aspect of the world is physically simulated, and all puzzles are based in the liquid simulation. Drop a ‘Drinker’ Fluro and lure him by spraying goo. Create a ‘Dark Fluro’ and chase him with light. Liquid and physics are not an aesthetic in Vessel, but the foundation of gameplay.

    Oh, I thought that I was the only person who cared about getting the original scene files for reasons of security. Well, I can always get a torrent if I can’t get them on the net.

    if a torrent gives you the original scene files or not ?

    Which Search Machine do you use to get it ?

    When you open the torrent file in your torrent client, there is a page where it shows you what files are in the torrent. If the torrent is just an iso and an nfo, then obviously it isn’t the original scene release.

    You can also use a torrent site that lets people comment on the torrents, say if the torrent is good or not, etc. BTJunkie was good for this but they closed up. Pirate Bay is good for this, especially since they have “Trusted” and “VIP” uploaders.

    @Philippe, you can’t know… nor can you on file lockers or other shared sites as long as they don’t supply proper hashes.

    You could be downloading a repack of the originals scene files with sfv and still not know which one is real. It would have been nice if the nfo included a general hash for the original iSO files.

    I have the solution to save the game.
    Run Vessel.exe as administrator. It’s a permissions problem.
    Was able to save like this.

    Thanks for providing a good, fast mirror and not tampering with the files or requiring some idiotic hoop jumping to virus infested URLs in order to supposedly obtain an archive password. People who do such things are scumbags, to put it mildly.

    You can’t be sure with torrents either, there is a vip uploader on TPB that uploaded a modified version of the game which packs the setup files inside a quasi setup file.
