Varsity Blues 1999 WS Int DVDRip XviD-DoggPound

Not so good rated sports teen movie from back ‘99 is out by DoggPound. Amy Smart, Paul Walker and James Van Der Beek star is this film. This movie seems to have a low rating but many votes, so I think many people saw it back then. I think it’s one of Paul Walker’s movies I’ve missed, so this is the opportunity to watch this once I also love sports movies. I usually don’t post so low rated movies but this might be a nice post for the ones who love teen movies and sports movies. The quality is 1CD and DoggPound is a group I trust. Enjoy!

Jon “Mox” Moxon (James Van Der Beek, TV’s DAWSON’S CREEK) is the second string quarterback of the Coyotes of West Canaan, Texas. When the star quarterback (Paul Walker) suffers a knee injury just as the team is about to win their 23rd championship in 30 years, Mox is in the hot seat. Mox, however, is more interested in getting accepted to Brown, a view which is at odds with that of the pigskin-crazy town as well as that of militaristic Coach Kilmer (Jon Voight). But when Mox becomes a town hero for his football prowess, will his sights be swayed from his academic pursuits? This surprise hit from MTV Pictures was directed by Brian Robbins (HARDBALL).

Well I have a soft spot for the teen movies / coming of age type movies and even sports movies even though I’m not a huge fan. I guess I like the old keep on keepin on feeling. Either that or I’m trying to live a better youth through watching others. :)

At any rate, I own this on DVD, it’s a great flick. Even beyond the teen / sports show IMO. And of course Paul Walker is always likeable.

Actually, I really like Dawson…er James Van Der Beek, he seems to be a decent young actor. I really enjoyed him in Texas Rangers. I look forward to seeing more of his work.
