    @17, MVS have never even been close to ‘top dawgs’. They just leeched of the good name Maven made for themselves. MVS releases are always average, never excellent. Plus they’re a bunch of di**heads.

    Line audio is from a cam source most of the time, just cleaned up, but its still hollow and distorted. this rls. is a waste

    Having read some of your opinions abt this release’s audio I have to say it – some people are deaf. I recommend pausing your iPods, dusting off your records or CDs and having a listen to some well-engineered audio. Good luck!

    i checked the piner sample, picture seems a little sharper but seems to have the same audio, not worth the download if you have mvs one. mvs and piner are both in sync so they are superior to the previous releases in that sense

    Sample looks pretty good to me, I’m hearing it on laptop speakers, but even with it being on the low end it sounds a little muddy but still easy to understand.

    Belive me, if u ppl are dieing to watch a really good version of this flick, DON’T!!! Rather spend your time in a smarter way and find a copy of “Rashômon” by Japanese movie maestro Akira Kurosawa. Way better than this Hollywood cr@p and based on the same “difference in point of view” idea. Rashômon is considered to be a masterpiece all over the world by serious film buffs. Best of luck for torrent hunting! ;)

    Some productive audio comments . . . coming through:

    There is allot of static in the audio for this one, it pains one’s ear to hear it.

    Audio is considerably lower. Its much better than cam audio but is very disappointing.

    For an English Line audio this is pretty pathetic.

    audio is still the same as ignite, i can hear the whistlin in the background at around the 18/19 minute mark. the audio is just muffle to tone down the high pitch hollow cam sound from the previous releases. good thing its free leech at leecherslair right now, i did’nt offset my ratio by downloading this……….

    i though the audio of this was good but not the best.. way better than the other releases.. trust me i got pre amped stereo monitor speaker i hear everything and there was some hollow and little hiss but not bad like other releases.. but it aint no direct line thats for sure..

    Alex Reynolds is either a huge prick, wants 2 minutes of e-fame, or seriously needs his pole smoked. No matter what it is, we shouldn’t let him kick it on this playground anymore.

    There is still a chance that this released can get nuked due to the first 4 seconds not having any audio, it happened to Jumper, it can happen to this.

    There is a very minor crackle I hear at parts where the volume increases but it isn’t as bad as everyone is making it sound. If the audio sounds too low you can increase the decibels in ConvertX before burning. I did :D

    And and here’s a spoiler: RLSLOG will post more movies in 2008 that have budgets over $1.89. Maybe. =]

    1 click RS links are a little easier for us premium account holders, but are of no use what so ever to free users, even if they are patient enough to wait between each download quota, unless it is set to direct download status.

    so i dont actually like the 1 click files even though i have a premium account, lets face it, it’s not hard to drop the file list into flashget, and it’s a lot faster to provide a mirror for 1 missing part than the whole dam thing if it gets reported !

    Just finished watching this release. Perfectly watchable. Video is flawless. Audio might be line but it’s not clean. Very low in some of the spoken scenes.

    It probably is Line audio but it sounds low quality like someone else said, still alot better than the cam audio though, but the funny thing is that the line audio kicks in the same time the cam audio did on the iGNiTE & ITL2.0 releases, which can also mean mVs just enhanced the cam audio. If they were smart they should have spent a little more time & had the Russian audio play in the beginning & fade it into there Line audio…..idk though….This is the best its gunna get till DVDRip, Unless PUKKA saves the day again……..

    Should be “Nuked” – Stolen Audio

    The audio is not direct. It is the same cam audio as all the others.
    For these reasons:-
    1: The audio starts in exactly the same place approx 4-5 secs in on the Columbia Logo.
    2: If you listen carefully at 20mins 56 secs you will hear the whistle has been edited out (Quads voice is cut short).
    3: The audio finishes halfway through the end credits same as Cam.
    4:If you listen carefully the audio frequency is heavily filtered to try to get rid of the cam hollow sound (reverb).In fact so heavily filtered at 29:20,41:05,49:40 you can hardly here the chimes of the town clock.

    The fundamental question is NOT what technology was used to produce the audio… the question is, what does it sound like? And the answer to that–if you DL the sample and actually watch/listen–is that the audio is low quality. No depth, and continuous static. The sample comes in at 129kbps acc. virtualdub, but that’s just upscaling. But hey, don’t take my word for it! the links for the sample are posted above – try it yourself.

    While I have just been enjoying rlslog.net for 6-8 months, I felt it my duty to post this brief but appreciative note. I had not dl the previous 2 versions of VP due to warnings, but feel this release is more than adequate to enjoy. A very slight notice in the audio being less than stereo quality, but barely even noticeable. These movies are free for us movie buffs, and I do not notice enough persons posting appreciation for these offerings. Tyrates, moaning, personal tiffs, mindless bantering, attacks on stereotypical trates, etc. We wonder why people are so defensive in this day and age when that seems to be all people are good at in times of crisis. Anyhow as to the movie so this post is more on topic, VP is a great reality based study of a government incident that could happen even today. Filled with talented actors who each get 10 minutes of a back story on events leading to an all to important ending. More or less a story of conspiracy, action, and ethics. One that I personally enjoyed, and again appreciate being offered. I have been enjoying several movies at no cost to myself so I am going to email Rlslog.net about setting up some sort of donation area on the website, as I would like to contribute to offset expenses, and help limit advertising. Keep up the great work Rlslog.net, you are truly an appreciated resource.

    This movie is only 1 HR and 26 Mins..About 49 Mins and 41 Sec is just pure garbage and has nothing to do with the plot…The real plot begins at 49 Min and 42 Sec…CGI is horrible…This movie is just terrible…How can you kidnap a president so easily and still don’t make it..Hahaha…
