VA - SAW IV OST (2007)
There are only days remaining to launch of SAW IV and that’s the right time to get ready for the movie by listening to its official soundtrack. I personally don’t even want to see the third sequel of original Saw, because it turned from superb to super crap full of pointless violence and disgusting scenes. The soundtrack for Saw 4 also isn’t exactly my cup of tea, but I’m sure there will be many of you who will like it.
The fourth installment of this horror/slasher film opens October 26 and features music by Filter, Ministry, Nitzer Ebb, Soulidium, Drowning Pool, Starsailor, Ex Japan, Diern Gray, Fear Factory, and Shadows Fall. There have been rumors regarding the final track listing. Websites like IGN and Amazon have tracklistings that differ from other sources. Among the rumored tracks include, Filter, Starsailor, Fear Factory, Dir en grey, and Shadows Fall. On October 18 it was announced that X Japan will peform the main theme for the movie, the song is called “I.V.”

Movie plot: Jigsaw, as well as his apprentice Amanda, have died. After hearing of Detective Kerry’s murder, two veteran FBI agents, Agent Strahm and Agent Perez, assist Detective Hoffman in sorting out the remains of Jigsaw’s last game. However, SWAT Team Commander Rigg (Lyriq Bent) has been put into a deadly game himself, and has only an hour and a half to prevail over a series of twisted, horrifying traps to save an old friend, as well as himself, from a grisly demise.

@2
Awwwww, goodbye Oink, we will miss you?
did they close oink?
Arrgh! No, please no - not the music!!
Surely if it is a ‘torture’ soundtrack, it should be done by Barry Manilow or R.E.M?
features music by Filter, Ministry, Nitzer Ebb, Soulidium, Drowning Pool, Starsailor, Ex Japan, Diern Gray, Fear Factory, and Shadows Fall.
Typo’s in there, should be X-Japan and Dir En Grey, not Ex Japan / Diern Gray =p
And I thought X-Japan already broke up a long while ago? hide, the guitarist died like 10 years ago Oo;
ive listened to it wont listen again its rubish
And hollywood complains about piracy here we have more horror guff the 4th instalment for your hard earned cash yea right hope 1 of the crewz get an ace rip on this 1 haha
got RS links???? I appreciate if som1 post a RS link here!!!
So where’s the Filter track?
Jigsaw returns back from the dead at the end of the movie.
^ no I dont !
um, what dir en grey song? and why aren’t either x-japan’s nor dir en grey’s songs on the soundtrack? that’s hella lame. anywho, i guess i’ll just have to wait til friday to find out…
X-Japan is reuniting for 1 Single (I.V.) and a reunion Tour…. hides Parts will be played by guest guitarists, but some unreleased hide stuff will be on the Single.
I.V. is kinda bad for a “Comeback”-Single, as it doesn’t sound like the old X-Japan at all, but like The Trax …
Could we just get the link without the authour’s opinion? I think saw is wretched trash, but I care about as much for the authour’s taste in movies/games/news as much as the people in this comment thread.
Just the facts, please.
Who do you reckon is the new “Brain” behind all the mess ?
I believe its the doctor, the one who survived in 3rd part.
Its not a guest guitarist on IV at all.
Its hide .
They used unreleased tracks he recorded before he died.
They just filmed a video for the song in Tokyo ,using clips of hide ,in with the live band.
And its the other 4 remaining members of X .
Yoshiki was at the SAW IV premiere in Tokyo weeks ago ,so it was already known an X song was on there ,long before we got the news .
So Toshi came out of his cult compound just to do this.
interesting.. no ?
Sweeet album! Emilie Autumn rocks! I saw her not too long ago live. Shes fine as well.
2 Thumbs up
Dir en greys in there?? huh interesting :] I like the new IV song by X JAPAN very nice~
I dont see X Japan or Dir en Grey on the tracklist?? o.O
X Isn’t on the soundtrack…they played the ending theme only, I.V. will be released as a separate single.
Also Toshi has been out of his little cult business for a while now..he didn’t JUST leave..
X is using Guest guitarists for “future” releases, IV as stated above, isn’t a guest guitarist it’s clips of hide.
Yoshiki of X-Japan got the guys back together this once to do the song I.V. which IS the ending theme to the movie, but its just going to be on the movie, not the soundtrack. Yoshiki says X is going to come out with another album, so that song is going to be on it. and the single should be officially released soon as well. but i dont know when… Yo is busy with this, Catacombs, S.K.I.N., and preparations for the 10th anniversary of hide’s death… so it probably wont be for a long time..
and the dir en grey thing is a rumor. as much as i would LOVE for them to be on MTV, FUSE, AND in big movies like this, they arent =( you can tell by how they cant spell their name….
but yay just downloaded the song I.V. and i love it. i want to hug Yoshiki.
Ummm, mister writer person, please
learn how to spell “DIR EN GREY”
And the rest of that music on the
Soundtrack seems like all Emo bands.
J-Rock can kick Emo’s arse any day.
Kasumi san, where did you get the I.V. song of X Japan??? do you mind to send it to my email??? XDDD
i can’t find it anywhere!! T.T
