‘Pub with no beer’ is an Australian song (made famous by Slim Dusty) – two pubs actually claim to be the one it happened to. Who cares, any decent Irishman would sympathise anyway.
Don’t know about ‘Irish blood in me…’; in most pubs I know in Dublin you end up with Irish blood ON you.
