VA – Lost Boys: The Tribe (OST) (2008)

Although the DTV sequel to 80s vampire movie Lost Boys was not a big release (in fact, I don’t think we covered it here), when noticing the Soundtrack, which hit today, I think, especially compared to the size of the compared, it’s a pretty significant release.  In stores yesterday, the Soundtrack features bands like Seether, Aiden, Starsailor, Eagles of Death Metal, and more.  Definitely seems like a solid lineup.  So if you like modern rock, check out this new release from XXL.

The follow-up to 1987’s cult film hit, “Lost Boys”  features the same thrills as the original with a soundtrack boasting such artists as Aiden, Eagles Of Death Metal, Seether, The Hold Steady, G Love & Special Sauce, Blind Melon, Starsailor, Jackpot, PJ And The Rellenos, Yeah Whatever, Airbourne, Dave Gahan, Von Bondies, Styles Of Beyond, and Nathan Barr.

    I absolutly love the firt film and thought if teh second film was half as good i would be pleased. The sequel (lost boy the tribe) was actually a decent flick, nnowhere near as good as the original but definitely worth a watch! :)

    I watched it the other day, in fact I did make a post in one of the comments saying it was out, as sequels go it wasn’t too bad, keep a eye out for the frog brothers:D

    forget all the bands…but AIDEN is local from where i live, i havent listened to them in years but the original “Lost Boys” movie itself was a classic to me (im a vampire movie fan) anyways i liked the original “cry little sister” track so hopefully they can do a cool modern version of it…

    I never actually ask for things from any of you, the readers, but I have favors to ask.

    There are a couple of albums that I owned, back in the day, that were recently released by FIH_INT. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find either lately.

    @16 I should have said, keep a eye out for one half of the frog brothers, the other half ended up on the cutting room floor… But there is another couple of people to watch out for from the original movie, one being Micheal’s brother, the other being the guy who played the Saxophone in the the first one, No spoilers, just enjoy the movie:D

    The seether song has a 50/50 chance of being good. The Dave Gahan has an excellent chance of being good, Go Depeche Mode. Blind Melon? maybe.

    But in general, I bet this cd blows. I have always wanted to check this movie out, as watching Haim being a total D0uche on the Two Cory’s cracks me up/

    This film was utter garbage, why they even had to name the two guys (brother and sister) Emerson is beyond me,looks like feldman
    was havening a blast, but this was just a poor mans version of a
    classic, what made the first one so good was the Family element, which was clearly absent in this. although they tried. worth a download to curb your curiosity
