@3 The only thing average here is your I.Q.

I’ve seen this band live 3 times. This band is not really talented, but they’re seriously under-appreciated. If you’ve heard anything from them in the past couple of years, it’s anything but emo. Go and read any reviews on them from any reputable music publications. But hey, you could call them pop-punk for all I care, I know good music when I hear it. Of course your entitled to hate them. Your loss.

Excuse me, it should have read *not only really talented*, otherwise I wouldn’t have seen them live so many times. Ha.
I’m tired I’m going to sleep!

@7 yeah i know i just saw on i nterfilm
@8 i agree…currently on my playlist is the doors, pink floyd and the tea party

@5 FFAF are a terrible band. all their songs are emo themed and promote giving up. just listen to ‘monsters’ you’ll know what i mean. pop punk? please. get your definitions straight. these guys are absolute tools and bring shame to rock.

what happened to straight out punk where the message was to stand up and do something about it other than sitting down and having a cry…sigh

depends on who’s opinion you’re considering…since this is compiled by some fat douche working for a magazinze aimed at teeny-boopers and hasn’t been relevant since the demise of nu-metal; i wouldn’t read too much into it.

nu-metal only really worked with deftones and maybe, just maybe linkin parks 1st album

you should learn the difference between “your” and “you’re” before commenting on someone’s IQ

“what happened to straight out punk where the message was to stand up and do something about it other than sitting down and having a cry…sigh”

if i hear a truer sentiment on the comments board again, not counting the contribution of the Angry Black Brotha, it would be too soon.

i won’t lie, this i can’t deny; linkin park/papa roach and all those bands from 2000/2001 got me into rock music as 15 yo trying my hardest not spew at eminem’s bs, so i thank them for that, atleast.

“what happened to straight out punk where the message was to stand up and do something about it other than sitting down and having a cry…sigh”

Ever ignore the message and actually listen to the same four chords being played? Where’s the creativity or talent? Anyone can mouth off about the government, or whatever it is about society that upsets them, mixed with a few catchy chords and call themselves punk. In many respects punk is much like hip hop, except with punk the artists actually play instruments. There’s a lot more to music than just the message the lyrics may convey.

I love how someone brought up pink floyd. Go do some research regarding people who listen to a lot of pink floyd, and the rate of suicide. I suppose if lyrics is what makes a band emo, then pink floyd can be classified as emo. Don’t get me wrong, I like pink floyd and a few punk bands.

I am not here to change anyone’s opinions. I was merely offering more variety to these forums. If you don’t want it, then do not download it.

i havent listened to funeral for a friend in years — but i enjoyed at least one or two of their songs and since Jason recommends it i will try out their new album — and although i will get flack for this, the new ALL THAT REMAINS album is pretty damn good too — not as heavy as their older stuff, but damn catchy and melodic

FVCK THIS SH1T. kerrang lost all credibility a long, long time ago. rather than even try to be about metal music, they gave up and started catering to the emo fa99ot kiddies.

thanks for helping to ruin the rock scene everywhere you total sellouts.

oh and choujij, what are you talking about? rate of suicide by pink floyd listeners? send us a link genius. oh wait, those statistics don’t exist do they, because you just pulled that out of your ass.

you’re part of the problem choujij, go kill yourself.
