@ Those insulting the uploader, I didn’t even know this CD existed, so this is some exposure for the charity (GOOD). However, I trust ZERO charities, and if I was going to go our of my way to help someone, I’d be doing it myself… not giving money for admin costs etc… it’s doubtful many haitians at all will benefit from this, plus, there’s another major Earthquake expected within years, so everything we can could well be undone then.

As if buying this record will help the people of Haiti. If alla the world leaders and assorted silver tongued poseurs who have been crying about Haiti lately really cared they would have stopped demanding the 80% of it’s gdp that is spent on debt interest years ago.
The debt stems from reparations France demanded in the Napoleonic era to may Haiti ‘pay’ for the independence it demanded from France. Ever since then the interest has compounded and Haiti has got further into debt while bankers laugh.

I have worked at Charities and “non-profit” animal shelters as a person in the I.T. Administration field. Don’t think for a second that something isn’t for profit. Every time you donate SOMEONE at the company get the money, takes their cut to “cover costs” then send the rest, if any, of the money off to the charity. That $1 for breast cancer research that Safeway asks you for? Lucky if the research center even see’s .20 cents of it.
