VA – Gangstalaw Riddim (2007)
Gangstalaw Riddim looks like one of better Reggae albums out there – released by unknown group RKS, it’s available for everyone right now. I’m not much into this kind of music, but there are some familiar singers featured on this 1 CD compilation like Michael Rose or Lady G. If you really want to enjoy this album, you probably need to live on Jamaica and be high, but it may be interesting also for some others of you.
THE GANGSTALAW Riddim Selection is a straight communication between the finest of Berlin-based reggae production, Africa and Jamaica. The 7 inch selection features A OUTSTANDING CHOICE of Reggae Stars with massive and huge tunes READY FI BOSS DI ROAD so watch out fi di latest bullits to shoot outa di “SECRET WEAPON!” The Gangstalaw riddim selection will be released on CD & Vinyl and you will find tunes like the original “Gangstalaw” on the album of Rebellion the Recaller “Movin on” which is coming very soon and “America” on the new Black Dillinger album “Love Life” which also will be out this summer.

“you probably need to live on Jamaica and be high, but it may be interesting also for some others of you”
pls stop posting about music you dont even listen to
and RKS is not unknown, unless you have never seen a reggae/roots/dub/etc rls before, which is the case obviously
thanks for posting this. d/ling now. it looks like it was released by ROW (rippers of west-indies) rather than RKS (real kings and soldiers). i think there should be more reggae on torrents, videos too.
Uh Martin , the first poster is right. if you really don’t know shit about reggae other than the watered down commercial crap, you should restrict your opinion as it would have no credible legs on which to stand
well the first 3 poster could not have said it better………
also RKS is far from being an unknown group they have been around for a number of years. i may/do not appreciate your review Martin but i appreciate the torrent, thanks ……..
leave Martin alone. It’s not like any of you idiots know a thing about reggae.. go back to listening to Eminem you posers.

As a Jamaican, living in Jamaica now. I was sorta put off by his comments, but in all honesty he is just expressing his truthfull opinion (WRONG THOUGH IT MAY BE) lol.
No Martin, I am not a rasta wearing dreadlocks, I am not high, I live in Jamaica not on it, and I listen to more music than Reggae and Dancehall. As a matter of fact, I use ur site to tell me about a lot of bands etc that I not exposed to, since I refuse to watch MTV and BET.
str8 @ Nestersan
uh Sam, i am from the Caribbean, so i do know reggae. know to whom you speak before dawning your internet tough guy persona.
r they good or not, thats all we need 2 know,no cheesy comments please…….
All the albums/music/soundtracks posted here are bunk, it’s all good though.
Contrary to popular believe of many Americans and others throughout the world, you don’t have to be high to listen or enjoy reggae. Reggae music is one of the more conscience genre out there and is a social commentary of the life we live. I am from the Caribbean (not Jamaica) but living in the U.S now for quite a while, Reggae music is what fill the radio stations air waves in my home country on a daily basis – from Bob Marley and the Wailers and Peter Tosh to new artists like Gyptian and I-Sasha. So I must say it is good to see reggae music slowly making into the torrent community, It is very rare to find even on things like limewire.
So Martin – thanks for the post and “nuff respect to the I-dren”
there is more reggae out there pon di net, ya just haffi find it
“addi_di_teacha” thanx for the music advice
