VA – 18 Favourites Oldies For Children (2007)
A very active but not too known music scene group CEC released kind of special compilation: 18 Favourites Oldies For Children from various artists. This album looks like a custom set of songs, as I haven’t found any information about it on the internet and not even Amazon lists this album. The release group included a photo of CD though, so it may be a real thing. Anyway, if you have children and want to play (not only) them some nice tunes, this may be a nice choice.

Guys are from Croatia, like i…. Nice…
Nice song names
Nice collection of songs for children but I still hum or sing out load in the car while I drive. Ok, I’ll share with my kids…. gee!
MEEK, MEEEK
I remember them when i was young and most of them did not make me happy. My grandchildren 7 and 12 (strange names) have heard them and were not to impressed ,they like Mika,Beyonce,Robbie, and chart stuff,. In the UK with all the floods i cant see many people singing to the kids Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head while were on our Summer Holiday stuck on Banana Boat eating Jambalaya then tell you your Nobodys Child while your 500 Miles Away Form Home, and then they hang Tom Dooley ,,,keep laughing kiddies,,your daddy only got a One Way Ticket .Still you can Cha Cha Cha to the Rhythm Of The Rain and cheer The Young Ones up with Sukiyaki Sixteen Candles and stories of a Cherry Pink And Apple Blossom White Lemon Tree that you will see next year in Guantanamera ,shh…Happy Crooning to children everywhere..
Why do songs “for children” have to be sung *by* children? This album is fail for killing 18 good songs by having kids sing them over cheap-sounding synths.
