It seems like it’s gonna be a remake. The trailer indicates that it’s gonna start with the arrival. But there will be some distinctions due to technological changes and capabilities.

hey, SYFY channel will be having a V marathon today (November 1st) starting at about 1pm EST.

It starts with the original mini-series, and then the Final Battle. It lasts until 11pm, when it all starts over.

Too bad they will NOT be showing the 19 TV episodes.

Also, the starting times listed are different. An ad on Syfy.com says 12:30pm while TVguide.com says 1pm… Then again, checking the actual schedule on Syfy.com shows nothing but movies playing all day instead of the V marathon… syfy.com has a terribly unreliable schedule!

So tune in at around 12:30 just to be sure you don’t miss it, but I’m betting it starts at 1pm like TV Guide says.
