V for Vendetta 2005 iNTERNAL DVDRip XviD-UNDEAD

Before I watched this film I was doubting if it would be good. This film is really amazing in my opinion and I liked it allot. Group UNDEAD brings again one very good film on the scene, thanks for that! My favorite Natalie Portman play the main role and this is the film where she cuts all her hair off, she is still pretty. The people who have missed it really have to see this one, I think one of the best films in 2006. Enjoy!

Set against the futuristic landscape of totalitarian Britain, V For Vendetta tells the story of a young working-class woman named Evey who is rescued from a life-and-death situation by a masked man known only as “V.”

Profoundly complex, V is at once literary, flamboyant, tender and intellectual, a man dedicated to freeing his fellow citizens from those who have terrorized them into compliance. He is also bitter, revenge-seeking, lonely and violent, driven by a personal vendetta. In his quest to free the people of England from the corruption and cruelty that have poisoned their government, V condemns the tyrannical nature of their appointed leaders and invites his fellow citizens to join him in the shadows of Parliament on November the 5th Guy Fawkes Day.

On that day in 1605, Guy Fawkes was discovered in a tunnel beneath Parliament with 36 barrels of gunpowder. He and his co-conspirators had engineered the treasonous “Gunpowder Plot” in response to the tyranny of their government under James I. Fawkes and his fellow saboteurs were hanged, drawn and quartered, and their plan to take down their government never came to pass.

In the spirit of that rebellion, in remembrance of that day, V vows to carry out the plot that Fawkes was executed for attempting on November 5th in 1605: he will blow up Parliament. As Evey uncovers the truth about V’s mysterious past, she also discovers the truth about herself and emerges as his unlikely ally in the culmination of his plan to ignite a revolution, bringing freedom and justice back to a society fraught with cruelty and corruption.

    horrible movie – interesting concept and could have been awsome but the diologue was horrible – never ending lame speeches… too bad – could have been a great movie.

    Fantastic movie, the people who claim it was “horrible” (see above) just don’t get that this isn’t an action flick, the film NEEDS the dialogue, it’s what set’s it apart from other film’s of this ilk.

    Not as good as the graphic novel but close enough for cinema.

    UncertainGod, aren’t people allowed to find a movie “horrible”? If somebody dislikes a movie, it is stupid to assume the person “doesn’t get it”. If you actually read his comment (5), you’ll see he doesn’t say anything about this movie being an action flick, but he just finds the dialogue going on and on at some points. It IS a comic/book adaption, and those tend to have too much dialogue for visual media like a movie. What works on paper doesn’t work on the big screen, and it shows that this part was weakly adapted from comic to movie.

    I personally did like this movie, but I can understand this isn’t everybodys cup of tea. You have to really “sit down” for it to fully understand it, even if the concept is somewhat outdated and done before.

    @7

    I got it – it wasn’t intelligent in my opinion and was over-acted. But obviously many people disagree with my point of view given its high IMDb rating with over 100,000. I simply didn’t like it and was disappointed with it after seeing it.

    I wasn’t expecting an action flick – I was expecting something that didn’t make me want to throw up after listening to the lame diologue. But again, that’s my opinion and many will disagree with it. Perhaps the diologue wasn’t what made me cringe so much as how it was delivered – I’d have to watch it agin (never gonna happen) for me to realy remember what irritated me so much with it.

    What’s the all the re-releasing of only recent movies… This has already been released (f.ex. V.for.Vendetta.DVDRip.XviD-DoNE) and a little searching would easily provide it to you.

    I can understand releasing old movies that have never seen the light on the internet, but releasing 2-3 year old movies that already was released is just plain pointless.

    Decent adaption but the GN was much, much better.
    It seems they haven’t done a faithful film based from Alan Moore’s works yet (this, From Hell, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen).

    And now they’re doing WATCHMEN. :(
    If you haven’t read the above mentioned, buy/borrow it; it’s probably the best in the comic book medium.

  18. July 16th, 2007 | 23:10

    i think ill watch it again in 1 year, I have it on DVD

    If you are intelligent enough to understand the symbolism and deepness of the dialogue and can understand the great character development thats involved in each scene then this will be you favourite.

    ;) my absolute favourite movie of all time and i am DEFINITELY reading the novel;)

    (xx)everyone should skip this version and just get the aXXo version instead because you cant beat the quality for the size(xx)

    If u ask me this movie is as overrated or even more than 300…

    The movie is okay, but could have been so much more. The comics are great, movie doesn’t even have the best parts :-(
    Natalie Portman looks great as always, but her accent in this movie is horrible. Hugo Weavings voice doesn’t emote… The only great actor in the movie is that guy from that “girl has a dick, and turns out to be a man” movie, Crying Game is it not…

  29. Gask
    July 17th, 2007 | 01:13

    Its true this was a rather uninteresting movie. The acting, action and story was disappointing… but watching comic book films teaches you not to have expectations. Its not impossible to enjoy however if you are a younger person or are just into that sort of thing at any rate.

    July 17th, 2007 | 01:18

    @21

    yeah, that’s it… i’m not intelligent because i didn’t like the horrible dialogue (again IMO!!!!!). that’s gotta be why they gave me an engineering degree and i was in the top 3% of my graduating class… from one of the top universities in canada i might add. i didn’t say the dialogue wasn’t deep. my point and thoughts were that it was after-school-special that made me want to vomit because it just seemed to be to much.

    i didn’t write a bad review of the movie to spark some debate on intelligence. i just don’t see why anyone has to say someone is unintelligent or doesn’t get it because they didn’t enjoy the movie. its just my point of view. take it for what its worth – just another dumbass on the internet saying his 2 cents worth. watch it yourself and make your own opinions. after all, i didn’t attack anyone because they liked it…

    why is it that when someone disagrees with the norm they are called unintelligent by the masses that flock to this site?

    anywho, i’m done with this thread.

    Great post on Mr Brooks though, it caught my eye when it came out in theatres. glad to see a good copy of it released and look forward to watching it.

    peace

    if you are brazen enough to admit that this is your, and i quote, “absolute favourite movie of all time” then your intelligence is very much suspect.

    any decent film has got some sort of symbolism going on if you look close enough. and i’m sure depth of dialogue is a remarkable characteristic of other much better films, certainly not this flick

    but as long as NP’s in it, what the hell right

    I agree with previous comments, there no need for this dupe. Especially because rlslog skips dozens of releases. Why not post other stuff?

    One of the few movies I’ve actually paid for in a long time. ^_^

    Not the best ever and it could have been more complete, but much better than alot of the recent hollywood bullshit we’ve been fed.

    i guess you haven’t watched many films.I haven’t read the comic book but the movie felt like a mixture of “1984″ “Brazil” and maybe, “Batman”!.I was expecting something really original after all the fuss but it was quite disappointing. Entertaining nevertheless and definitely better than your average “comic book hero” movie.
    And by the way since this is you favorite movie of all times why do you want to have it in 1CD ,mediocre, axxo, quality.
    It’s Runtime is 132 min, FCS. Someone told me that they invented DVDRs for backing up your movies………crazy…..

    @36:
    That was idiotic. V for Vendetta was written almost 20 years before 9/11.

    V for Vendetta is a great comic, and a decent movie, but people give it too much credit as a “deep” or “philosophical” movie. It’s “popcorn philosophy,” at best. It’s a bit smarter than your typical summer action movie, but it’s far from brilliant political philosophy.

    July 18th, 2007 | 07:04

    ^^ I guess I can see why ppl are tripping about it since it look like somebody gave it a 9 and 10 along the 100k rating :D . I wouldnt said this was horrible becuz I didnt read the novel :D . Should be around 7 as above average :D .
    Btw, did anyone watch Equilibrium cuz I think that is a good movie, kinda something like V for vendetta but a little better :P . Maybe cuz of the dialogue :D .

  53. July 20th, 2007 | 19:57

    I didnt say that you were unintelligent if you didnt like it but i did say that if you were intelligent than you can appreciate the depp dialogue. If you say that there is no symbolism then look up the meaning of V’s mask. Try looking up “Arlechino”, an italian carnivale character and what he is know for. Just because a movie is incredibly deep doesnt make it good. This movie is deep AND has action which makes this movie great. The rogue actions reminded me of El Che (Che Guevara) and makes you feel good that one person can do a lot of change, even if its in a movie.

    Please dont take my comments offensively because there not meant to be offensive. I dont like to start petty fights over the internet. I just wished to express my opinion over the movie which is better than some expressing POLITICAL views. I never called someone unintelligent, and each person has their own taste in movies. I have seen thousands of movies like many others and this is my favourite. Just because this is not the deepest or action packed does not mean its not the best.

    JUST MY OPINION ;)
