Now this is a show that i have been waiting months for since i first saw the trailer and i absolutely loved the originals, its the remake of the 1980s classic Sci-Fi mini series “V”. I was just reading something pretty crappy on WIKIPEDIA the “V” Remake is due to air 4 episodes in November and then goes on break until March 2010 after the 2010 Winter Olympics. Today, the world woke up to find spaceships over every major city. The Visitors claim to have come in peace, bringing gifts of medical miracles and technological breakthroughs. They promise to do no harm. Are they lying?

Update: A Proper has been released by NoTV. According to NoTVs NFO, POW4 segments are out of order.

Pilot
An image of Anna, the leader of the V’s, is projected worldwide as she talks about people joining together; the V’s are Tyler’s ticket to being a part of something big, egotistical newscaster Chad gets an exclusive interview with Anna.

    wth, ncis gets 720p right away but pilot of sci-fi series doesn’t.
    But even if it will get 720p finally, it will be crappy 1 gb compression with a lot of noise :( For stargate universe its pretty unwatchable be cause of dark setting…

    While I was happy its wasnt the “Lets never forget the holocaust” that the original was, I found this very watered down sci-fi.

    The 2009 version is written and produced by one of the original 80s writers (well of the TV series). But is was also written and produced by someone who brought such TV giants such as 4400 and Angel (and yes I am being sarcastic).

    Have these pair of secondhand clownshoes pulled thier heads out of thier own bumholes long enough to see a decent sci-fi show? I’m guessing not… They seem to think some flash CGI, and some old sci-fi actors will gloss over the fact this remake is s**t!

    I am a scifi fan but I do not understand why people create so many scifi-crap-stories and then wonder why watchers choose not to watch. I cant take anymore of “90210″, “grey anatomy”, “gossip girl”, “forensic crap” and “police/emergency room crap”. I want broader tv entertainment and “V” is not as I expected…….maybe the relation to the “4400″ Makers is the point….”4400″ was also crap…sorry!

    what a shame.. as someone who as a young teen stayed up late to watch the original series i was hoping they would capture something from the original or better it.
    The original series 1 was really good, even thought looks dodgy when ya watch it bk now as its soo old lol.

    As usual ..its all about the money.. they went back looked at the ratings from original series and thought yeh lets make a rehash of V. This could of been good but its all just hype, they missed an opportunity..and as a result i wouldnt be surprised if its axed before episode 9 etc.
