    Actually, I’ve been using it for a while now, and it’s quite useful for people who use multiple removable disks on their computer.

    less clicks to remove devices than vista and you can choose what to and what not to show in 7. I hate the fact that I have the option to safely remove my root drive in 7 and this program allows you to remove that.

    Dude, all you have to do is unplug the USB device. Real hard. Doing so without going through the useless steps that Windows says you have to, will do NOTHING at all to your USB device.

    Removing USB devices has a small chance of data corruption without stopping it first. About 1 in 1000.
    Over 1000 times without stopping it you could get caught with your pants down

    Far from useless, if you have a USB multi-card reader, this will let you eject one of the disks without ejecting the entire USB device. Plus it shows you what processes are using a drive if it cannot be removed.

    Finally, been waiting for 4.2 for quite some time…

    I found this very useful, coz I have 5 external HDD’s & this makes removing them & RE-CONNECTING them Back, very very convenient.

    The size difference (in the extracted exe…not the rared file) versus the file you’re replacing it with, God help you if that’s not a big red light.

    Removing a drive? Just LEFT click on the devices icon of XP/Vista/7 icontray and select the drive.

    OR

    Open explorer and select “Eject” on the drive.

    This tool is worthless!

    @Ramon

    Seriously, unless you have used this tool you don’t realise how good it is.

    No right click, no nothing. All you have to do is hover over the icon in the task bar. It lists off all the devices you can remove. Click on it and it is removed. If you can’t remove it (happens all the time right?) it will force remove it or close the programs locking the device.

    But wait! You made a mistake you really didn’t want to remove it… click the name in the list and it will reload the device.

    This program goes far and beyond what Windows (XP/Vista or 7) does with removable devices. If you want the best tool to load or unload these srt of devices, grab USB Safely Remove you won’t be sorry.

    PS. I know this sounds like some wanker who is trying to promote this program. I am not, but I will tell you this is one of the first programs I put on a system that I am installing for a friend – and yes I do like my friends. lol
