US teens love sharing nude pictures online
One in five US teens has sent nude or partially-clothed images of themselves to someone by email or mobile phone, according to a new survey. The survey commissioned by pressure group the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy (NCTUP) claims that North American youngsters aged 13 to 19 are having tech-sex despite a majority of them believing it can have “serious negative consequences”. More than half of the 1280 teens and young adults up to age 26 who took part in the online poll said they had received a sexually suggestive message from someone else and one in five said they had shared the racy message with another. More than 80 per cent said they would be concerned about sending a sexy image of themselves or racy message because they “might regret it later,” and 70 per cent said they were worried it could “disappoint family.”
What worries the NCTUP is that a third of teens think that sending such messages makes a real shag more likely. Real shagging worries outfits like the NCTUP a lot because it thinks this leads to high rates of teen and unplanned pregnancy. However there is a slight flaw in this reasoning. Teen pregnancy and birth rates in the United States have dropped by one-third since the 1990s, since technology came onto the scene. If you expect that all these saucy emails and naked pictures would result in a boost in teen pregnancies, they haven’t. NCPTUP’s answer to that is that teen pregnancy in the US is higher compared to other developed countries. But this might be because of the higher age of consent and the lack of sex education in some regions in the US. Kids that have access to technology might be a wee bit better informed about contraception.

I really hope you’re kidding and you do know that you can record live shows off of MSN, Yahoo Messenger, AIM, any thing you want to really. There are MANY webcam capture programs out there that will capture whatever is on the webcam and save it in what format/quality you want it. Hopefully it’s not too late for you and you can stop exposing yourself on cam, and you should just hope that no one you’ve cam’d with has decided to record the video and upload it all over the web.

The problem might not be teen pregnancies, but it can be suicide. Other people who get these photos can pass rude, insulting and obscene comments directly or indirectly. We know that some teens are vulnerable from the case of the teen who committed suicide after a neighbour posed as a guy humiliated her with just words. In the world of teens, words are worth a thousand pictures
