Just after the Year One SCREENER was released, scene group ROAR have also released another SCREENER, this time its the release of the highly rated animated film “Up” from Walt Disney. The film centers around a grumpy old man named Carl Fredricksen and an overeager Wilderness Explorer named Russell who fly to South America in a floating house suspended from helium balloons.

Up is a computer-animated comedy-adventure film produced by Pixar Animation Studios about a cranky old man and an overeager Scout who fly to South America in a floating house suspended from helium balloons. By tying thousands of balloon to his home, 78-year-old Carl Fredricksen sets out to fulfill his lifelong dream to see the wilds of South America. Right after lifting off, however, he learns he isn’t alone on his journey, since Russell, a wilderness explorer 70 years his junior, has inadvertently become a stowaway on the trip.

    There are screenshots and a video sample in the post… People tend to have pretty different views on what kind of quality is watchable and what isnt, so take a look and decide for yourself ;)

    Before anyone gets too excited, download the sample and check it out.

    In my opinion, don't waste your time and wait for a better version. This type of movie is only worthy of a high quality screener.

    The sample looks very bad. Seems all of ROAR's movies today are extremely fuzzy. They're not even VHS quality. Heck, I've seen crisper TS's. The colours are nice, but it isn't sharp.

    I'd await a them to come out tomorrow again, maybe under a different group, but done properly.

    There is no way in hell this is from a screener. Even assuming it was from a VHS tape (do they even send out screeners on VHS any more?), then whoever did the capture on this doesn't have two brain cells to rub together. A $25 VHS-to-USB box you can buy at Wal-Mart can give you beautiful quality. This "screener" has washed out colors, scan line problems, alternating light and dark….hmmm, just like a telesync. Actually, more like a cam since true telesync implies that a camera with the same frame rate as the film is used. That's obviously not the case here.
