Unknown group iNQONTROL has won the race to release this anticipated Crime Thriller in R5 quality. A quick glance on IMDB and RT reveals that this movie is probably nothing too special and may be over-hyped. Anyway, the quality is very good. The picture quality is crystal and the sound is loud and clear. The only downside, I think, is that the video is kind of dark, but of course that isn’t a big deal, and this release is as close to a DVDRip as you can get.

Synopsis: Directed by Gregory Hoblit (FRACTURE, PRIMAL FEAR), UNTRACEABLE follows F.B.I. cybercrimes specialist Jennifer Marsh (Diane Lane) as she attempts to track down a serial killer who brazenly displays his murderous deeds on the Internet. Aided by fellow agent Griffin Dowd (Colin Hanks) and local detective Eric Box (Billy Burke), Marsh tenaciously hunts for the elusive criminal in rainy Pacific Northwest settings, but as she closes in on her target, he deviously finds ways to get closer to her, all the while killing his victims in increasingly faster fashion.

    Meh, if you grabbed the other release no point in getting this one. Pretty weak movie IMO. Lame story, lame actors, lame everything. The only 2 things this movie has going for it are:

    1)No huge name actors, so there is actually a story
    2)It’s all revolving around the internet, and the technology being used in the movie is true to life, they try to keep that as realistic as possible.

    READ THIS BEFORE WATCHING THE MOVIE

    A psycho creates a website that is somehow untraceable (hence the title). It features live streaming video of his basement and his various victims. It starts off with a cat, then a helicopter pilot (by injecting anticoagulant), a newscaster (heat lamps), an FBI agent (slowly increasing concentration of acid), and finally the main character (Diane Lane), also a FBI agent, who escapes her death-by-mulcher by swinging out of the way while dangling from the ceiling. She ends up breaking free and gunning down the murderer just as the cops show up. At first it seems the victims were randomly chosen, but it turns out that there is more to the story.

    Turns out, the first two victims were chosen because they were part of filming or presenting the suicide for a high school teacher. His son, who is a techno-savant, and a bit unstable, breaks down and was admitted to a psychiatric hospital. When released, he decides to prove a point (that the public is insatiable for the suffering of others – roman style), as well as wreak vengeance on those he feels have exploited his father’s tragedy. The FBI agent, was killed because he came close to the truth of who the murderer was, and Diane Lane’s character because she was trying to catch him (and was able to identify and locate him – ruining his fun/vengeance), as well as because he feels that the government should have done something, instead of letting the press exploit the tragedies of others.

    one of the worst movies of the year so far,all the technical details were so dumbed down it was painful to watch (uninterrupted hd livestream for millions of users,yeah right)
    soundtrack is good though

    if you are bothered about the darkness as noted use virtual dub and go into filters to change brightness but dont forget to use the divx codec as compression then save as avi file otherwise you get a way to chunky file and it skips like a frog lol, should take round 30 mins.

    Hey is it just me but the “Untraceable R5 XviD-iNQONTROL” from Newtorrents had a bit of a sync issue… it wasnt to unbarebale but it was an issue and i was surprised it hasnt gotten nucked, since ive seen some before that still had sync issuses but not as noticeable and were still nuked… cant recall which though. Has anyone else come accross any out of sync with this or was it just me. i also noticed that some speach was also cut out… not whole sound just speech, notice it rite acter the incident at here house mid way thru when shes talking to the other detective on her steps???

    Yea audio is messed up, no dialog white background sound is ok, in two places. It doesn’t take away from the movie but is annoying. Will download the proper dvdrip when it comes out, yea a proper cause I bet how things are now that the dvdrip will have it’s own problems.
