We haven’t had an adventure game on rlslog for a while and i think its about time that we had one. So here it is, Undercover Operation Wintersun. Release comes fully operational (no crack or emulation needed) on 1 CD (623 MB) and with no extra languages included other than English (i think) lol. Thats me hopefully finished for the night! In 1943, Hitler’s Germany is performing scientific research on nuclear fission intending to produce nuclear energy as well as nuclear weaponry. Which would you say is a better game, this or Halo 3?
This looks like the Syberia adventures which I enjoyed very much. I only hope the quests though enough. The last adventure I played lasted only a few hours before I finished it.
Going to have a go at this one and hope it last a bit longer.

FPS games are around since 1995 or about that time.

Doom made that genre big only to be followed by Unreal Tournament which boosted the genre to a new height.
All modern RPG games go back some 30 years in their roots.
But to say Point and click games are old is a misunderstanding. Any game played with a Keyboard and mouse I consider a Point&click game.
Any FPS is based on this principal. I point my mouse and then click to frag. XD

Point and click games are more interesting than FPS. FPS games get boring really fast. Good to see more P & C games. I like ones that are a little different like Blade Runner or the x files game which was a full motion video P & C game which was pretty good like following an episode of the x-files.

Here’s another thing; it takes a high-end expensive computer to play a lot of these FPS. Personally if I was buying either this or Halo 3, I’d buy this. Why? Because my computer can’t handle Halo 3, but CAN handle this… so Halo 3 wouldn’t be worth the disc it was burnt on to me. I have kids and a wife and bills. I can’t afford to go blowing serious money on some high-end gaming system.
@ 26 No need to “blow serious money” on a gaming rig, with $800(U.S.) or even less you can build from scratch a decent gaming rig that’ll be able to play all the latest games at top quality settings.
*L* $800 is serious money to me. That could go towards another car, or family vacation, or something else far more practical.

Wolfenstein 3d was my 1st fps. What was b4 that?
Quake + my 2 3dfx cards was my first FPS drug! It owned my life.
Everquest(aka evercrack) had 370 days real time played when i quit heh..
yes, Wolfenstein 3d was the first FPS, made by the same dudes that brought us DOOM (ID Software). From there on, it’s been FPS heaven (or hell). Personally, I don’t compare games with eachother from different genres, I just play and enjoy or don’t enjoy them.
There has been some really good point & click adventure games (the more famous one’s from Sierra and Lucasarts) and it’s sad to see that the genre has kinda faded away. But thank you for this realese, will test it out for sure.

It would be better to play this game from the German perspective, not some english coward. Even a Russian perspective.

SP = Single Player
MP = Multi-Player
FPS (1) = First Person Shooter, any game where your viewpoint is the same as the game character’s and shooting enemies is the main point of the game.
FPS (2) = Frames Per Second, how fast the screen is updated, usually in relation to FPS (1) games.

how do you mount this? i used hjsplit to combine the files but alcohol 120% cant detect the iso
How do you extract this archive? 7zip says the file is broken, and WinZip can’t even see the archive.

@ raro11: after joined the files how do i extract the rar file?? it say’s there is more than one rar file!
im having fmv sequence issues. i cant see them. i can only see them if i have an explorer window covering part of he game. same thing under windows xp compat mode (im on vista). fmv = full motion video a.k.a. computer generated
how to run it on Vista x86?
I also had FMV problems when anti-aliasing was enabled.
When OFF, then they showed right.
Please help, i am also having unzipping probs, using 7 zip, winzip wont even see it?? it tells me ‘file is broken’
I’m on the 3rd level at the entrance of the kwi building ,but whenever i enter the building the game crashes.it gives a windows error. can anyone help me out. i even tried downloading the save games but when i load another level it still crashes i’m runnig windows xp.

Toke me two days to figure out.
- After the files are unpacked you have 44 files with extension 001, 002, 044
- I renamed 001 to RAR
- When it asked for the second RAR file I selected the 002 file
- The rest went automatically and the result was a BIN file
- Mount and install
When you use a joiner it will result in a unuasable file.
