I don’t know if any of the people outside Australia ever heard of this show. But over here is quiet a huge hit. There was the first series of Underbelly around last year, which i really liked. It was a 13-part mini-series, retelling the real events of the 1995–2004 gangland war in Melbourne. And now here is a new prequel, the real events of the drug trade in the New South Wales town of Griffith between 1976–1987.

FYI if you wish to download the last series, Mininova have all of the torrents. I recommend it as there is so much stuff compressed in the 13 episodes, so its non stop action. Also if your a TL member you can download it from the Episodes/Boxsets section.

Aussie Bob & Kiwi Terry.

    This production was rushed through in less than 6 months after the success of the first series and it really shows. The actors are all decent but the first two episodes are very underwritten.

    underbelly one of the best shows australian tv has ever produced.. but as with any sequal/prequal it will fail to live up to the first season, a relative of mine worked on the first season but not on the second 1 and from what he said it was rushed.

    One of the best crime shows to come out of Australia, it's a true story which makes it what it is.

    If you haven't seen the first season grab it, it's a good watch.
