Unbreakable 2000 720p BluRay x264-SEPTiC
SEPTiC brought us the 720p version of one of Bruce Willis’ older movie, Unbreakable. I’ve seen this once or twice and since I’m not a big fantasy fan, this just wasn’t my type of movie. It did get a pretty good rating on IMDB, so many other people did like it, and the 720p will make this a good Sunday evening watch.
Quality: Its the usual HD release, great video with a nice bitrate and 5.1 AC3 audio 
Security Guard David Dunn miraculously survives a catastrophic train crash outside Philadelphia. Not only is he the sole survivor out of 132 passengers, he also is completely unharmed. A little later, comic book specialist Elijah Price contacts him to confront David with an incredible theory: Elijah, who has been nicknamed “Mr. Glass” due to his more than fragile bones, thinks that David has got all which he himself lacks. The two of them “seem to be linked by a curve, but sitting on opposite ends”. First, David does not believe the strange man, but every single thing he had said proves to be true: David has never ever been hurt or sick in his life, his physical strength is larger than normal and he has a skill which others don’t. Slowly, David begins to discover the shocking truth behind Mr. Price’s assumptions. But after all, David’s fate is not only to find his real place in the world. It also is about proving Elijah’s theory of his own existence.

Good movie. Not great.
Terrible, Terrible movie that is worth watching once just so you can see for yourself how much of a hack M. Shamilang-a-ding-dong is.
The guy has almost as much ego as Quentin Tarantino in the sense that they think everything they do is great (including casting themselves in the film so we all can watch their horrible acting!).
Painful.
tss, one of the best, if not THE best, superhero movie out there. I really like the ending, makes me shiver with excitement and overall the film has good feel to it.
Yup I got to say this movie was a big let down.

Errr, obviously the ban didn’t work because I just saw 2 of his posts appear that were spoilers to the movie. Guess a moderator just cleaned up because they didn’t last long.

i saw I, Robot a few days ago. i might give this another try again. was a good movie years ago
This is my #1 favorite film of all-time. There’s so much going on with the characters that you shiver more over what they /don’t/ say than what they do. Excellent performances by all, this film is like good wine, it gets better with age.
Bruce Willis has been making movies for over 20 years, and this one was made 8 years ago. How is this “one of Bruce Willis’ older movie[sic]“?

This film is good, but not great. The performances are nothing special, and really, not much is happens in this film. The twist is interesting, but nevertheless it’s awfully predictable .
Still, you should watch it cuz it is pretty interesting.
One of if not the best superhero movies ever made.
The origin is the most important part of the story.

Ha, really enjoyed this and I thought 6th Sense was a bit crap.
Shyamalan is a one trick pony but I think this is his best work. Anyone seen Lady in the Water? Now that was bad!
This is not an older Bruce Willis film either, film n00b.. He’s been a working actor for nearly thirty years and this was made in 2000. I guess if you were waddling about in nappies then it may seem old, I remember seeing it at the cinema as high as a kite back when I was in college, what happened to my life since then?
Anyway, Willis has been playing these burnt out hopeless characters nearly his whole career. An excellent move financially as it’s not really a character with an upper age limit! He was awesome in Sin City, the part was perfect for him.
I’m happy for the release but i am disappointed in the video quality.
I was hoping for it to be over 6GB.
Maybe I will be happy if there is a 1080 release-

I know this as a “slow action film”. And it is extremely slow, however the ending is nice.
@23/40: No, you can’t - you need to convert it to DVD format or something. You can also connect PC to TV.
