@ #16,”someone” look fool, registry cleaners are not for noobs.. if you knew anything you would know that windows sucks for uninstalls and all so all ways leaves behind reg entry’s that are useless and just clutter things up.. if your so good then i guess you go in manually and delete them using the regedit option.. lol! yeah right sure you do.. i think by your comment your the noob here..

You are funny. I’m using Windows for 16 years and have not needed a registry cleaner yet. I also write software for a living for 25 years, so calling me a “noob” is just funny and makes you a fool. But use them if you think you need them and it makes you happy. So which one of the 500 registry cleaners you tried is the best? Just kidding. I don’t care.

Registry cleaners are a modern form of snake oil. But don’t take my word for it, read more about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Registry_cleaner

So I am hardly alone with my opinion.

I have no problem with a post about a registry cleaner and people that think they need them. But why are like 30% of all software posts on this site for registry cleaners? PCs can be used for more things than cleaning their registry.

But hey, it’s not my site, so they can post whatever they want. I’m just saying that it makes it look like a site for newbies.

@Someone – I agree bud. Registry cleaners aren’t needed. I’ve tried various cleaners and even though they have corrected l000′s of so called problems, i cant say i have ever seen a performance gain. However, i have had programs stop working properly or behaving differently after using them. Use them with caution if you must use them

lol, didn’t know it was not needed to ‘repair’ the registry. And indeed funny and strange to see a lot of these programs here on rlslog. What is the reason? A lot of hits?
