The latest version of UltraMon released by BLiZZARD. This has to be one of my favourite applications that i have installed on my PC, ive used it for many years now and i dont think i could use dual screens without it anymore. Version 3.0.6 of UltraMon now also supports Windows 7, Click here for the full changelog.
UltraMon is a utility for multi-monitor systems, designed to increase productivity and unlock the full potential of multiple monitors. With additional window buttons, you can quickly move windows or stretch a window across the desktop. Use the Smart Taskbar to manage more applications, with a taskbar on each monitor and each taskbar only showing the tasks from the monitor it is on. Shortcut extensions make it easy to position applications on the desired monitor. The UltraMon screen saver and wallpaper manager make it possible to use a different wallpaper and screen saver on each monitor. It also includes a flexible mirroring feature (Windows 2000/XP only), with support for mirroring one or more monitors, and use different resolutions for each monitor.
• Window management
Quickly move windows between monitors or maximize a window to the desktop using the additional window buttons added by UltraMon.
• Smart Taskbar
UltraMon adds an additional taskbar for each secondary monitor, and each taskbar only shows tasks from the monitor it is on. This makes managing lots of open applications much easier, and when activating an application, you’ll know on which monitor it will appear.
• Display profiles
With display profiles, you can quickly change the settings of one or more monitors. You can also create a display profile that gets applied when logging in, especially useful when the computer is used by more than one person, and not everyone wants to use the same display settings.
• Mirroring
Mirror the primary monitor on one or more secondary monitors, for example when doing a presentation. A unique feature is support for different resolutions, the primary monitor can run at a higher resolution for example. Mirroring is only available on Windows 2000 and XP.

I also use this Programm, works really great for my 22"pc monitor and 37" hdtv xD, has nice and usefull Features, like being able to choose 2 different desktop backgrounds etc.
Yeah, AVG detects the keygen as a virus. Must investigate further.

AVG is notorious for giving false positives on keygens. You should definitely not be using AVG if you are into cracked programs or you will continue to get false positives all the time. Anyways onto this program, it is definitely an absolute must have if you have multiple monitors, such a great program.

@9: Yes, I know. But RLSLOG is also notorious for letting these things slip. I'm using AVG because I like not being part of a botnet. Ran it through Jotti and it says AVG was the only one to find anything (SHeur2.AMT).
Binary Fortress's DisplayFusion works quite a bit better on Windows 7 than this does.

I have identical 22" LCDs…would this app allow me to stream video/watch a movie across the two screens without making it look like sh*t?

Besides the fact that it will have something splitting the video apart because of the physical edges of the screens, yes it will give you an option to do that.
I scanned the keygen with NOD32 and did not get any warning signs.

As the results above show there is a Virus in 64bit.
I would run in a sandbox to be safe.
Or find somthing else.
Trendbytes OfficeScan also detects a PAK.Generic inside the x86 version. I hope it just the keygen.
Everyone who may use this for Windows 7 (and in turn any windows), use DisplayFusion like @15 stated, UltraMon is a full of bugs and is just doesnt look good, especially for W7.

VLC can split a video across whatever number of monitor you wish.
While playing go to
Tools / Effects and Filters / Video effects / Vout/Overlay
and activate the Wall feature
set it to 1xRow 2x Columns for 2 monitors
