I have to say, Notepad++ is better.
Notepad++ is better????????? Are you on something????? I have used both Notepad++ and UltraEdit for some time now and there is no comparison. It’s like saying its better taking a poop standing on your head.
If you like the simple things then by all means stick to Notepad (++) or (–), if however someone out there has been looking for a text editor with more bells and whistles than you can shake a stick at then UltraEdit is for you.

If I remember correctly, UE needs some kind of online-convalidation, so using a keygen is not enough, hence a crack is needed.

I use Hiew for all my hex editing and hacking. Yet to find a decent replacement hex editor with built in disassembler for reversing engineering apps.
UltraEdit has its uses, but I prefer EditPlus. I don’t do much hex editing.
GMail says that there is a virus found. Be careful…

Why use a crack for a specific version when ACME’s keygen still works?
It does not do online checking and never has, just you have to update your keygen sometimes if you upgrade UltraEdit.
And yes, whenever I want a capable editor on Windows, I go for UltraEdit.
I would have bought it already, but their licensing model is just unacceptable to me…

I unzipped unrared but only setup exe is in setup dir..
There is a bug after you apply the patch. If you want to close a single file/tab the program will be closed too. Without the patch it is working … I checked …
