    I downloaded the ufc.109.countdown.hdtv.xvid-kyr.avi from megashares and VLC said it was a damaged AVI file. Might have a virus? Who knows.

    its not a virus. Ur download might have been incomplete. Play it with kmplayer. Google it, its a freeware

    If still it doesnt work then redownload
