Guys from ViTALiTY released a new version of football simulator UEFA EURO 2008. This is finally a good game after long time of crappy titles – well, at least it looks like that. Euro 2008 is just a conversion from original PlayStation version and it could be converted much better. Still, this is a good opportunity for all fans who can’t wait any longer for the real championship in Austria and Switzerland and want try a new game from EA Sports – if you won’t like it, there’s always FIFA and Pro Evo Soccer.

UEFA Euro 2008 features stunning visual representations of the world’s best players, playing in a more accessible, faster-paced and responsive version of the market-leading EA Sports football engine, and all of the teams and official stadiums that will be part of UEFA Euro 2008. Take on the challenge of leading one of over 50 European national teams to glory as UEFA Euro 2008 recreates all of the drama and excitement of the official tournament in Austria and Switzerland. Play as your favourite country from qualification right through to a virtual reproduction of the championship tournament.

A new game mode called ‘Captain Your Country’ enables gamers to customise them on the pitch and wear the shirt of their national team. Work through eight status levels to earn the captaincy of your team and then lead your country into battle for championship glory against your rivals. Go online in ‘Battle of the Nations’ to earn status points for yourself and your country in a competition for global supremacy. Go for the biggest upsets to earn the most points and then watch you and your country move up the leader boards. Face the challenge and pressure of competing in the championship rounds in the ‘Euro Online Knockout Draw’ to test your skills against the world’s best.

    WARNING: Just so you guys know, those are not screenshots from the PC version. This game looks just as last gen on PC as the other FIFA games. I wonder when the hell will EA finally decide to port the 360/PS3 version on PC because I honestly had enough of this crappy excuse of a game.     Played this for half an hour, what a bad game.First of all the graphics on high look worse than pes 08 on low. Interface is really bad and the game constantly tries to read from my floppy drive resulting in annoying noise every time i scroll over an option in menu (but that might be crack’s fault or smth). As for the gameplay i can’t say it’s too good or bad, just the usual fifa style type of game.Not recommended.

    No not soccer, its called football…FOOT followed by the word BALL as in FOOTBALL that you kick the ball with your foot.

    Also i fail to see how a 17-14 score is any better than 2-1. At least you really cheer when the goals go in, who can cheer with equal enthusiasm 17 times? Football is about passion, skill and entertainment. 0-0 is not a typical score and if you followed football you would know this. I haven’t seen a “brutal riot” in football for years and fans don’t try to kill each other or threatening staff and players, thinking otherwise is ignorant.

    But i won’t hold that against you because you’re American and we all know Americans are the smartest, fittest most influential people to ether grace the former green fields of the brown man.     This game is not exactly next gen, but the graphics are better than FIFA 08, so is the gameplay. Just look on youtube if you want to see what it looks like.

    Everyone knows ProEvo reigns supreme by a long shot, but its still a largely incomplete game due to licensing restrictions. Even when you mod the game to get accurate kits, there are no truly accurate rosters for all teams, and you cant play in realistic leagues.

    Konami could truly corner the market if they would get the licenses and create proper gaming modes for each respective league instead of the master league.

    Hi All Ppl,
    I got the Dl from #2 -the one from NetLoader with 5 parts- It extracts a Folder with 36parts + 1.sfv. That 36 parts dont have a file-type associated and even if I renamed all of them to .rar it wont extracts nothing and the WinRar shows an error message.
    Somebody here know HOW to put this parts Working, please !!!
