Tyga – No Introduction (2008)
Saw this floating around tonight, and found it weird. Someone’s who in with both the Fall Out Boy/Gym Class Heroes type(apparently he’s the lead singer of GCH’s cousin) AND Lil Wayne. This is Tyga’s debut album, released on the favorite record label of the Myspace Generation, Decaydence. It’s yet another album that’s coming out June 10th(seems to be the biggest release date in a while), but (assuming) one-time group TYGA has it here today. So, if you are into Pete Wentz or Lil Wayne, Hot Topic or… hmm… brain freeze, can’t think of a hip hop equivalent, but anyways, you all get the point. Check this out.
Michael Nguyen (born November 19, 1989), better known by his stage name Tyga, is a pop rap artist signed in 2008 by Young Money Entertainment and Decaydance. Tyga is also believed to be the cousin of Travis McCoy, lead vocalist of the group Gym Class Heroes, even though McCoy is of Latin Black and Irish descent, and Nguyen Vietnamese and Jamaican. Tyga has lived in Compton, California and is a native of Gardena, California.
No Introduction is the debut studio album by American rapper Tyga. It is scheduled to be released on June 10, 2008, by Young Money Entertainment/Decaydance Records.

A trivial point of news for those involved in the hip-hop world where this sort of thing IS news… It seems that Tyga got his chain or chains pictured here (http://realtalkny.rawkus.com/2008/06/topic/topic/beef/young-money-artist-tyga-got-jacked/) stolen… smh… oh well, that’s how it goes… I wouldn’t listen to his album though. That Coconut Juice song not cutting it.

in response to the original poster, a hip hop equivalent of hot topic would be someplace like, against all odds, dr.jay’s, or the sneaker store fight club la [which tyga just so happens to be a huge fan of]. also people, tyga is THEE man. he’s sooooo good looking. have you actually looked at his eyes? or his lips? a lot of people are blinded by his tattoos [i say they make him even sexier]. he’s extremely talented. his music doesnt sound like anyone else’s that i’ve heard. and he’s been doin the music thing since he was like, 5! besides that, he did a little acting when he was younger. AND he makes music that different people can listen to. the only demographic i would say he singles out are like teens & young adults because its just a given that they’re gonna listen to it. but he makes music for everybody. when i first heard coconut juice i thought i would grow to hate it because it was so catchy, i thought it’d be one of those songs that gets stuck in your head that you dont really want there. but i fell in love with it. and him. and then i went & listened to some of his older music from his mixtapes. he’s hot; both in appearance & music. and he just has soooooooo much SWAG! =D
