Especially for a laptop. I've used Photoshop for mor than a decade and quite frankly, I use it for one thing; Photos. It's it's main purpose. Painter is great for Paintings, and Autodesk Sketchbook is good for sketching, But, that is just me. I've seen Phenomenal work on Photoshop with paintings and Illustrations, granted if you have the system and hardware to get it 'flowing' in real time ALL the time.
