Turok PROPER-ViTALiTY

I’m not really used to see propers of Razor1911’s releases, but it seems the glorious days for this group are definitely over. ViTALiTY released a proper of Turok, a sci-fi first person shooter which turned out to be not such a bomb as expected, packed in a massive 12.5 GB release. The proper reason is obviously a bad crack – as the NFO mentions, Razor1911 used emulation instead of actual cracking, which results in poor performance and most of all, various crashes during the game. I suggest downloading a 3 meg crack only, getting the whole game would be a terrible waste of bandwith…

Proper notes:

RAZOR1911 gave up trying to rebuild the game code because
of all their previous fuck-ups and decided to create an
emulator for the SecuROM VM.

Their emulator crashes inside the VM after entering the
SecuROM virtual machine.

It’s sad to see that groups who were respected in the
old days are simply not good at cracking anymore and force
a position by immature actions. Enjoy a true rebuilt crack
by our satanic reverse engineers.

    razor1911 has given me a lot of perfect cracks/iso’s its a damn shame to see a proper.
    i suppose its a shame there had to be a proper in the first place.
    respect where its due because they have been doing this before i was born.

    I have razor1911 version, just finished the game and i never had a single problem ingame or crashes. Razor1911 crack is fine no proper needed.

    I played the razor1911 version as well, no problems encountered, so I don’t quite get the crash story. Still, I advice everyone to get another game, as this one sucks balls.

    Those VM cracks are sometimes MUCH slower than Vitality propers. Sometimes they are stable and performance hit is neglible but just to be on a safe side I’d use their cracks.

    same here, playing razor version, no slowdowns or hickups yet. Perhaps you lose a few fps or something i wouldnt know.

    game sucks ass anyway ^^

    i got razor edition. it came with 2 isos. one is 7.8gb and the other is around 5 gb. however, it came in both folders, in which there are additional zip files. no idea what they are for cause they are not numbered in a sequence i.e. .001, .005, .010. i didnt install the game as it requires 16gb of hard drive space!!! but the installation works! so all i need is that 3 meg crack and thats it! am i right or do i get something wrong???

    Vitality’s cracks are properly coded and compressed, though seems unreliable in some games I played because of crashes.

    The game is running nicely. Nothing special for Unreal engine. Well, It sucks for nature environment.

    I appreciate all of them, scene or not, accepted or not. I WAS around in the beginning of Razor1911, and I am glad that someone picked up the torch for them after the ORIGINAL Razor1911 got busted – today’s Razor1911 is not the same as the one from back in the day, it’s a “commerative” group. None theless, though they are not as skilled as the original, they are coming along. That being said, we should be appriciative of Vitality’s efforts, despite his methods – look at it as his way of “optimizing” – it’s not like they are applying for patents! Just be glad you can play for free and stfu.

    about all the crashes, GPF fault and so on. the solution is reinstall, reinstall and reinstall the game. tried a lot of different os’s and installed it on different disks. no matter what os you are using some installs just aren’t ok. just install it on a different location. btw, gamecopyworld has a mini image of the game using it now with deamon tools lite 4.12.3 and it’s working after a few reinstall’s with the original .exe. happy gaming. i just love those linear airhead games..

    im having problems with the installation. load up disk 1, then disk 2, then it asks for disk%. assuming its referring to setup files on disk one, i switch back over and the installation finishes. screen says turok installation successful. i go to paste the crack and i cant find the original.exe. its like the game didnt finish. no shorcut and the only thing under the touchtone start menu is to uninstall. loading up disk one only gives me the option to install still, not play. i uninstalled and installed again, same problem. any ideas?

    Some of you people don`t know the meaning of old-school. Some of us remember swapping releases on 1541 drives for crying out loud. Think yourselves lucky you don`t have to do it in person and can sit there flapping your anonymous lips all day :p
