Turistas UNRATED DVDRip XviD-DiAMOND

Here’s a really fresh piece of news: famous guys from DiAMOND released the great dvdrip of a mysterious thriller Turistas just a minute ago. Although there are some nice actresses involved in this, the movie as a whole is complete garbage with really cheap plot and nothing which could surprise you. The only good may be the Unrated version, so you will be able to see some better scenes at least. As long as it’s Diamond’s release, you don’t have to worry about the quality…

American siblings; Alex & his younger teenage sister Bea along with their close friend Amy are backpacking through Brazil, meeting up with fellow similar companions; Brit mates; Finn & Liam, together with Australian traveler Pru on a cross country bus. Bearly surviving after it crashes and now all thrown in together. Further mishaps occur due to becoming stranded by so-called ‘friendly locals’ some of whom have deprived them of all their belongings & processions! Searching for any sympathetic police, they meet familiar face Kiko, who offers leading them to sanctuary.

But upon finally reaching this supposed safe haven Amy soon vanishes, it’s only then they discover far too late their saviors offering shelter are operators of a black market specializing in running human organs seeking unwilling donors to benefit their misfortune countrymen. In their captor’s eyes; foreigners have come into Brazil raping their precious lands of its rubber, sugar, gold, even using its people as throwaway sexual playthings. For this exploiting of their country, our backpackers are now set to go under the surgeon’s scalpel, courtesy of Zamora, Brazil’s answer to doctor giggles.

Totally waste of time and bandwidth. . .
    One example (of many):
-There are no monkeys in Rio de Janeiro beaches. It’s not Amazon.
It’s just like cowboys riding horses in New York.
Didn’t they do any research first?
    As Martin said:
-”the movie as a whole is complete garbage”

I checked out the R5 and the movie was pretty decent, I would give it a 7. It looked fairly believable. (As far as Horror movies go)

OMG! Now that it’s unrated, it won’t suck as bad!!!!!

  12. March 14th, 2007 | 11:44

Martin sometimes you realy suck, “the movie as a whole is complete garbage” if you didn’t like the movie (and i think you didn’t even watch it) just say “I didn’t like the movie” because people who read your comment will think your right and won’t bother in watching it.

As some1 said before i’d give it a 7/10 too, pretty good movie, and about the monkeys in wild brazilian forests, maybe you should google before making such retard statments.

Very down to earth story about strange cases of foreign (and brazilian) people missing in brazil. With overall good performance from most important actors in the movie.
I’d say it’s 10 times better then SAW3 so go and leech it!

-”There are no monkeys in Rio de Janeiro beaches. “It’s not Amazon.
It’s just like cowboys riding horses in New York.”

Sorry to inform you but there ARE people dressed as cowboys riding horses in new york. In carriages too. Tourism attractions. It’s what makes it New york. So I guess now we’ll be seeing more monkeys in Rio de Janiero now.

P.S. Doesn’t Brazil have squads that go around killing it’s homeless population when they become an eyesore? Or do you really think that news of that never makes it past your borders? Is this film really that far from the truth? No, it isn’t, deal with it.

@Junky It’s obvious that this guy only likes schoolboy dramas with really well known actors in them. That,or just boring mainstream movies. That’s okay,it’s his taste and he’s entitled to it, but he should state that he doesn’t like B-movies or low budget horror films when he writes them up. That way people will ignore his opinion and go right to the torrent.

    March 14th, 2007 | 15:03

well…Martin is one of the writers on this site, which means that he can write whatever the hell he wants!
People should just think for themselves…if he writes: “the movie as a whole is complete garbage”, then you must read: “I THINK the movie as a whole is complete garbage”.
You can search the net for other opinions also, even on this very site in the above comments!

So if you want to disagree with someone elses opinion, fine! But don’t take it out on the writers of this site! They are doing this in there own free time…

    Come on people… it’s just a movie. 6/10.
But believe me, girls in Brazil (Only bubble butts no flat asses allowed) are very very VERY easy to score.

P.S. It’ not that easy to find a monkey nowadays.
    Peace all.

Although I sometimes disagree with Martin, I don’t take his reviews all that serious. He is right for the most part about most movies, most ARE garbage. I think garbage to him just means it’s not memorable, just something to waste time with and he would be right. Asian movies are about the only good things going right now, Hollywood has officially ran out of ideas and are remaking Asian movies like crazy.

You guys are so stupid and hv no idea what a shitie movie like that can do to the turism survive ppl from all over brazil, since the american ppl hv no culture and now days still think that our capital is “buenos aires”, that we hv monkeys on the streets, and our girls are easy; Is natural to think that will afect directly many many lives without 1 single pixel of thruth in this film. so if you wanna give a try, do it, but dont be stupid enough to think this is what its happend with our turists becouse thats not true.
by the way, the girls want your dollars and euros, not yours gringo ass, so deal with it!!!! (im sorry about the bad english, im working on it). PEACE

Haven’t seen the movie yet BUT beaches and babes can’t be all that bad. I mean, Melissa George in a bikini. YUM!

These movies are fantasies, not documentaries. The people that think Brazil is like this movie prol don’t have the money or ever really intended to go to Brazil in the first place. All the rotten crap that Hollywood farts out doesn’t stop people from going to LA or NY or Chicago.

If you believe this is reality then you must think everyone else’s farts smell as good as yours.

“If you believe this is reality then you must think everyone else’s farts smell as good as yours.”

And if you don’t, then you must actually like smelling my farts. Check out the info on the Brazillian death squads below. They killed 1000 street kids in the early 1990s. I’d say that’s incentive enough to stay away from Brazil. And “Know It All” clean up your own country before you start criticizing someone elses.

I enjoyed that movie, and i really like Brazil, But is it true that rich people can do everything there n never go to jail, n even a teenager with “16 years old” that rapes, kills etc… can not be arrested by anyway… how is that? are u all crazy? WTF. Anyone at Brazil can confirms that for us?

Hey Geek ya missed my point.

Yes, there are plenty of travelers that either do not go to Brazil or limit the places within Brazil due to crime and extreme poverty juxtapositioned to the affluent and tourist areas. The same can be said about everywhere else travelers go like Mexico City, Los Angeles, Paris, Moscow and many others.

The point was the movie is NOT a documentary. The movie is fiction. The movie never, to my knowledge, presented itself as fact. The movie will do little to hurt the tourist industry in Brazil. The movie just isn’t that important. If you think the movie is real and/or important then you deserve to smell my farts.

    March 14th, 2007 | 21:06

@ Wanky, I didn’t miss your point you missed mine. The film although clearly a work of fiction incorporates a few key facts grounded in the reality of life in Brazil. That’s primarily why it’s reception has received so much negative press down there. Those facts amid the fiction hit TOO CLOSE to home, and hell if some the facts are real aren’t some people more likely to believe the fiction as well?. When popular forms of entertainment meant to receive a much wider audience than documentaries about the same topic reach the public consciousness they can do far more damage. The disappearances, murders, even organ trafficing all have been documented by the U.N.

Be cool guys, all the countries have problems that only who lives there knows. Everybody knows that there are areas a tourist shouldn’t go, in every country. I ve never been to U.S.A. n all that i heard is that Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn,Staten Island are not the safest place on earth to a tourist visit(Don’t take that as an ofense, my apologise in advance). Like some areas in Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo etc… I supposed that the possibility someone sees a monkey around Rio is the same one being attacked by a bear in Central Park NY while smoking on a bench.

man if you want to know about what happends around here, please go see a film called Cidade de Deus (City of God), not a Hostel like movie dressed in a latin american jungle, ok?

“incorporates a few key facts grounded in the reality of life in Brazil” ROFL
now about your link up there, 1 thing to say only BULSHIT!!

“Brazilian society that believe the group performs a service to the community”
WTF MAN!! do you really believe that?!?! and more, your talkin about human rights, if u are american, tells mr bush let “terrorism” prisoners go from you know where before mention a subject like this… Do i need clean my house??yes like u said, but its not only me…do your thing but dont come tells me what happend in my country coz u know nothing! PEACE

ps. yes this film FUCK many lifes that lives exclusive of turism, i blieve thats rio de janeiro for example is more danger for you then those places, thats for sure

    Jimminy Crickets!

    It’s just a movie.

It didn’t crap out because it had a few facts wrong.

It died at the box office because it’s not a good movie. It just didn’t do a good job of entertaining/scaring people.

I suppose there are people that won’t fly because of the movie about snakes on a plane. I hope most people here can see the difference between movie fantasy and reality, no matter how many truths are incorporated into a work of fiction, and will continue to use airlines.

Even terrorists can’t kill air travel. Do you really believe a fictional movie that hardly anyone saw is going to stop tourism to a large degree to Brazil?

I’d think the news stories of crime and abject povert, like that in Rio, have the most to do with casual travelers’ decisions to visit Brasil. On the other hand, my parents have visited Brasil twice and both would go again in the future. Then again they haven’t seen Turistas. ;)

You won’t see any Monkeys(you would have before 1992). Most of the Animals in the Forests are killed by the new logging roads in the 1990s, illegally(but fuck them, we do it to make lots of money for us.)
Now over the last few years you need to go at least 50-60 miles inside the rainforest after leaving a road to find animals larger than spiders. Another 5 years and it will be rare as gold dust to find anything. But we have a lot of money to make from those animals(large anaconda’s will be extinct soon) and removing those trees, so life is very good in Brazil.

i’ve made my point and won’t argue with you guys because of different opinions then mine, i just find it wrong from Martin because obviously his opinion counts more just for being in the “front page”…

The comment by Martin is a complete opinion, it matters not. I check this site and I learn about new releases, though I do not agree with Martin’s opinion most of the time. (I do in this case, BTW) Why are you guys arguing about some ones opinion? It’s pointless, it’s like arguing if red is better then blue.

As far as the movie, sure, it’s not realistic, but it is based in reality. Human organ trafficking is big in Brazil, sure, it does not really happen to tourists, but it happens to native people all the time. Black market for organs is huge, and Brazil, and other countries in eastern europe and south america are the suppliers.

Finally, stop bitching about your god damm rain forest, don’t blame America for it, blame your own government. If it wasn’t so easy to bribe your way around Brazil, maybe the rain forest would be a bit safer.

When did this site become a political board?? All this talk about whether the film is this or that!!!… People the movie is actually quite good!

I dont think this film is gonna influence whether i visit brazil or not.. Maybe the high crime rate, but not this.. Why so many people seem offended is beyond me!!, GROW UP ITS A MOVIE…DUH!!…CALLED ENTERTAINMENT!!!

Im italian but dont have a fit when a movie set in italy is all about crime/robbery/corruption and/or mafia orientated.. At the end of the day, its what goes on and thats it!

Whether the films subject is really happening doesnt bother me, if your stupid enough to be kidnapped and robbed of your internal organs then u deserve it!!

And no, there is no person going inside an university and killing a lot of people, they should make a movie of that.

Thats disgusting, the movie sucks, not real, look at your county and will see a lot of thing to movie.
