True North 2006 DVDRip XviD-VoMiT
Another VoMiT release. There’s nothing I have to say. This one seems decent though.
The skipper of the Scottish trawler PD-100 has worked for more than thirty-two years to buy his fishing vessel but is bankrupt and near to lose his ship to the bank. While in the port of Ostend, Belgium, his first mate and son Sean accepts a lot of money to smuggle Chinese illegal immigrants to Scotland to keep the trawler with his father. The crewman Riley helps him in the scheme, and they hide the group in a store below the boatswain store. However, a Chinese teenagers hides in the engine room, stealing food and leaving money in the galley. The cook, who is a little slow and has issues with sex, finds the stowaway and helps her. Sean decides to stay longer in the North Sea to get catch and avoid problems with customs, leaving the immigrants in the most subhuman conditions. When one of the Chinese dies, despair is triggered leading the crew to tragic actions.

you know I am not of fan of these movies put out by Vomit but I have tremendous repsect for that fact that they go out of their way to provide non-typical scene movies that all the other groups don’t. I still hope someone can provide the movie “Lars and the real Girl” as heard great things about this movie. Here’s to hoping.

VoMiT is OK in my book. I download all their movies and I’m often surprised (in a good way) by their movie choices. Plus quality is ALWAYS great, VoMiT never needs a PROPER unlike other “major” groups who screww up all the time.
I don’t understand why rlslog staff members are always slagging off VoMiT, like in this case Desi: “Another VoMiT release. There’s nothing I have to say. This one seems decent though.”. Look at it this way, at least they are not releasing the lowest of the lowest in the film industry: Bollywood movies! Then they would have to call themselves DiaRiaH.

You dont think thats because the “major” groups have alot more competition and pressure to get the movies out fast? Plus I’m pretty sure the big groups releases gets watched much more closely and searched for errors?
Dont take me wrong I’m not looking down on VoMiT’s great work mearly stating that they’re not “errorfree”.

No point in downloading this as Desi has pretty much told you half the story! Desi, next time you post a review, try to aviod ruining the plot
This is a must see movie. It really brings home whats happening with people smugglers and how desperate people are.
