Here comes well known ViTALiTY with their release of Tropico 3.

The time is yesterday and the Cold War is in full swing. Through means devious and dubious you have seized power in the Caribbean island country of Tropico, where you now rule as the all-powerful “El Presidente”. You decide whether you want to use your army to secure your power base in the best traditions of corrupt, unscrupulous tyrants everywhere or lead your people to prosperity in your role as generous elder statesman. No matter whether you turn Tropico into a vacation paradise, a police state or a modern industrial nation – you will always have to defend your actions before your people! Wander through Tropico as El Presidente in order to intimidate political opponents, hold populist speeches or just to enjoy your country’s own Caribbean flair.

Don’t forget to keep a sharp eye on the dangers and side-effects of your absolute power! Danger lurks on every corner, be it militant revolutionaries bent on installing a communist junta, or the machinations of the superpowers USA and the Soviet Union, both of whom would like to see a more amenable ruler in strategically important Tropico! History takes its course with events such as the Cuba crisis, papal visits and other actual decisive historical events. The only question is whether or not you can play a role in that history!

    how do i install this?

    when i extract the rar files i get all 001, 002 files etc. i use hj split to join them and i get a file without a file extension. when i rename it to rar or iso, it just does not work. i try to mount it with daemon tools and even tried ultraiso.

    No need to rename files. Open winrar, for example, and click the file with the extension 001. The file iso is extracted.

    Update: Just found out. For everyone using Win 7: Put the compatibility mode on Windows XP (Service Pack 3) and run it as administrator.

    Wordked for me.

    reguir, like i always say : use 7zip or Izarc (both are free) to decompress you files, it will add the correct .iso extension and everything will be ok.

    In some cases, winrar don't add the correct extension, and you can't mount the iso file even if you rename it.

    well my problem is when i start the game its then show a message of critical error.. i dont know what critical error is that because i cant see it even i switch to it in the task manager, and then it opens haemimont games webpage.

    After Updating to 1.04 you can’t Play with the serial out of the infos, bcz its blacklisted by an internet check.
    So if you want to play the game you have to pull out your network cable or block the internet access with a firewall…

    i got also an unrar failure, it says that part .00 is missing.
    I mean ur Upload is unpacking fine; but within ur upload (from gram24.pl?) is an “vty-0265″ file (i guess its a rar).
    But when i tried to unpack this file an part .00 file is missing.

    Anyone else have this prob?
