Tropic Thunder TS XVID-PreVail

PreVail group released TS copy of “Tropic Thunder”, comedy with well know comedians such as Jack Black, Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr. and others. Nice and watchable quality – check out the sample.

Plot: In the action-comedy “Tropic Thunder,” Ben Stiller plays pampered action superstar Tugg Speedman, who is cast in the biggest, most expensive war movie ever produced. He sets out to Southeast Asia with a “Who’s Who” of celebrity co-stars. They include Kirk Lazarus (Robert Downey Jr.), an intense, three-time Oscar-winning actor; Jeff Portnoy (Jack Black), star of the popular gross-out comedy franchise “The Fatties”; multi-platinum hiphop-star-turned-entrepreneur-turned-actor Alpa Chino (Brandon T. Jackson); and first-timer Kevin Sandusky (Jay Baruchel). Soon after the production begins the actors are thrown into a real-life situation and are forced to become the fighting unit they’re portraying, in order to find a way out of the jungle in one piece.

    Terrible release! The audio is horrible! static noise louder than the actual movie audio. I dont know how you could of possibly labled this a a watchable TS!

    I saw this movie in the theatres and it was gut-busting funny. I began to laugh even harder when watching others gripped by “the pc police” because they could not lighten up.

    I never watch cams or TS. But when this hits R5 or better most of you will laugh your asses off.

    Ok, sound is static-y from 3 minutes in to around 15 minutes. It isn’t constant, it comes and it goes. Also the audio is out of sync from 40 minutes in. It comes back into sync around the 1 hour mark. Other than that, its good. Prevail rocks again…..they are no Centropy, but hey…

    I take it back this not a 6 for video, it deserves a 4.5. this is a CAM not at TS; camera is out of focus during the panda fight scene and a large portion of the right side is chopped off. Nice try Prevail, FAIL!

    Part of being a TS is having the video filtered some when reencoding with the new line source. But, this HAS bad video,
    AND no way is the audio lie quality, jus listen to the sample, you idiot.

    “Filtering” is not required for a Telesync.

    The only difference between a “Cam” and a “Telesync” is the audio source – the latter having direct audio synced to the video.

    For a TS it doesn’t even have to be LINE audio. If you have a russian vid synced with english cam audio it’s still called a TS, as a video source was synced with seperately recorded audio.

    Don’t bother with this release. Video is watchable but the audio is some of the worst I’ve seen. First 15 minutes has a VERY annoying constant hiss sound. In fact most of Tom Cruise’s cameo (which was suppose to be really funny) is inaudible because of that. It also gets out of sync.

    For all the noobs:

    – bad or not-good Quality —-
    Cam = camera screener
    TS = Telesync (Cam with better audio, mostly Line)

    – better to avergae quality —-
    TC = TeleCine (Filmed from 35mm negative or scanned)
    DVDScreener = better TeleCine

    — good to very good quality——
    R5 = like DVDScreener or better with Stereo/limited audio
    DVDrip = very good scan and audio source

    So, stop complaining and read my lips ->its a cam screener/TS! For better quality go to a movie theatre.

    Mamma Mia[2008]R5.LiNE.XviD-Glassen not sure, but be honest, its probaly fake, bit early for R5, and never heard of the Glassen group, unless this copy is a russian audio one.

    From the sample, it sounds like the audio was transmitted via ham radio. The picture is decent with some adjustments.

    I expect better from Prevail. They could have waited to get in-line audio. I’ll wait for another release.

    the sound quality is soooooo bad, OH MY GOD, i have never seen a TS with such an baaaad sound, you can barely understand whats everyone saying during the 30 minutes or so, oh my god, this release is a shame, this release is sooo bad, image quality is kind of ok, but the sound is soooo bad, oh my god it is soooo baaad it HURTS… *cries in pillow*
