Transformers HD DVD 1080p AVC/MPEG-4 DD-CtrlHD
And yes, there it is: Transformers HDDVD! This is the 1080p version (MPEG-4) so it’s not really what some of you guys wanted but here’s a start (oh, and it has lots of subtitles!). It’s released by some group called CtrlHD, wich I never heard of. I don’t think this movie really needs an intro, so just grab this one guys
Oh and please, take a look at that size
A long time ago, far away on the planet of Cybertron, a war was being waged between the noble Autobots (led by the wise Optimus Prime) and the devious Decepticons (commanded by the dreaded Megatron) for control over the Allspark, a mystical talisman that would grant unlimited power to whoever possessed it. The Autobots managed to smuggle the Allspark off the planet, but Megatron blasted off in search of it. He eventually tracked it to the planet of Earth (circa 1850), but his reckless desire for power sent him right into the Arctic Ocean, and the sheer cold forced him into a paralyzed state. His body was later found by Captain Archibald Witwicky, and before going into a comatose state Megatron used the last of his energy to engrave a map, showing the location of the Allspark, into the Captain’s glasses, and send a transmission to Cybertron. He is then carted away by the Captain’s ship. A century later, Sam Witwicky, nicknamed Spike by his friends, buys his first car. To his shock, he discovers it to be Bumblebee, an Autobot in disguise who is to protect Spike, as he bears the Captain’s glasses and the map carved on them. But Bumblebee is not the only Transformer to have arrived on Earth – in the desert of Qatar, the Decepticons Blackout and Scorponok attack a U.S. military base, causing the Pentagon to send their special Sector Seven agents to capture all “specimens of this alien race,” and Spike and his girlfriend Mikaela find themselves in the middle of a grand battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons, stretching from Hoover Dam all the way to Los Angeles. Meanwhile, within the depths of Hoover Dam, the cryogenically stored form of Megatron awakens…

Waiting for 720p H264 :-p
holy shi* thats a huge download 28 gb.lol
sorry 26 but still crazy.
Awesome!! I understand it is MPEG-4 so its .mp4 file? Im confused
I would like to play this on my PS3 if possible….
hell ya! but i think im gonna just buy it instead of using that much memory
There is a mistake in the link of the torrent (a “S” is missing).
http://www.newtorrents.info/search/transformers
The torrent in not avaible now.
who would be insane anough to try and get this on torrent. still would be okay just to watch once on a big plasma.
This is the original size, i guess?
I’m thinking of watching HD for the first time in my computer screen with the resolution of 1680*1050. Shall i wait for the full HD or can i watch “half-HD”
this is fake!
Samples added
sim11: you could just download it from newsgroups when it’s up.. that would save you several days of uncertain speeds.
Thanks for posting and for the samples Bram. But I know my computer would crash if I even tried 1080p. The best my computer can do is 720p. Also I think its cool for you to post non scene if it is a good quality. I personally like DragonRipper624 even though they are recoded scene releases. I would like to see how shiny Optimus Prime is. Also is Megan Fox really sexy or is it also special effects by Michael Bay ?
As said.. 26gb is crazy. Need like 30-50mbit/s downloadspeed if it should go alittle smooth.
Its crazy that they ripped it in hd-dvd and not bluray(maybe doesnt exist on BR).
(of course u dont have to burn your movies)
What I find is that HD-dvd(emptys) costs about 5times more then bluray-emptys. Both 25gbs.
So download this movie, burn on a hd-dvd and u will make maybe €15 on it.
Nah, give us BR-rlses that is cheaper to buy.
fck me 26gb!
Stick with UnSeeN – still the best release for this film out there
@14 Yamma
HD DVD only, sorry.
It’s either a very noisy release (might be source) or the samples are just bad. Doesn’t look that good. I mean, look at the jacket in sample #3. Or the noise in sample #4. Can’t be too long until a proper x264 version will be released.
Ill wait for the x256 or what ever the right codec is.
It’s not worth the download! The picture is to grainy… that’s what you get when film is enlarged. A 720p would probably be the best choice for ppl that want to view it on HD displays.
For PC go with UnSeeN… it has the best picture quality!
u start listing aXXo stuff also soon?
I must have Megan in 1080p!
You kids really are stupid… This release appears (still need to download to make sure it’s legit) to be an actual HD-DVD release. Meaning these are the actual files as located on the HD-DVD disc. They’ve just been decrypted. There’s been NO CONVERTING done at all. This is how the movie looks on the HD-DVD. Screenshots dont do this justice.
You will need a really fast PC and a HD-DVD software player to play these. Or the appropiate demuxers and decoders. Unless you have a HD-DVD burner…
What’s the point of 1080p if you don’t have a good connection or a powerful PC? Waiting for 720p.
Amazing movie. Gotta have the HD in your collection.
Thanks yet again Bram for this beauty, 1080p will be beautiful on my 8800gts and 50 inch viewsonic. 26 gigs is really nothing out of a couple terrabytes, really people wahhhh.
No way iam gonna dl 26gb on my 0,5mb connection
Will wait for a 720p, that’s what my pc can handle smoothly
http://www.highdefdiscnews.com/?p=239
http://www.highdefdiscnews.com/?p=239
good post but fingers crossed for 720p asap!
Must have this awsome vfx movie in 1080!
google is down
CtrlHD is an amazing group. You might not have heard of them, but they are good. This is definitely a must get…
can wait X264 720p or 1080p
thank you for this post!
Holy crap 25GB! Must be all that special features of a naked Megan Fox!
Downloading it’s using my dailup connection…..thx Bram
With my download speed i could grow a beard and take a degree course waiting for this. Pass
Where is the torrent???
yeah great movie; 4more hours
get faster internet connection and stop crying
http? hahahaha
and does anyone have a torrent??
thanks
26 gb? :O Wtf…. No way that im dl this one…
15 mins more……………..
Yeah, who has so damn much time to make 261 RS links? xD
And as far as I know mpeg4 means DivX or similar thing.
WOW! I can’t wait for this download to finish and then watch it…5 years from now.
where is the torrent ?
Uhh, description is wrong?
The allspark is a “talisman” granting “unlimited power”? Isn’t it a “huge cube” granting the power to “create life”? And i don’t think megatron sent out a signal to the decepticons, didn’t they learn about the glasses the same way the autobots did, through ebay?
The movie sucked though…
@ Hey
Amen…. but Peter Cullen’s voice was good.
In India it will take one month to download this movie even with the highest speed available to home users on unlimited basis (256kbps).
lol
Saw this release and I can’t believe they f***ed it up (not the rippers, the persons who brought to HDDVD). I would wait for the Blue Ray version which hopefully has better quality than this grainy sh*t.
will take me 10 hours to get this… my comp is gonna be on for a while :/
that is, whenever its posted on usenet
plz guyz, if u r going to do an HDRIP of this
make it either 1 x dvd5 or 2 x dvd5 (that will be perfect)
don’t make silly 1 x dvd9, as there r hardly anybody who can burn it to a dvd (as double layer dvds r quite expensive)
@50. Johnny
If you’re gonna be a video snob, at least be an educated video snob. The grain is part of the film… it’s how the FILM was SHOT. Even if this was released on BluRay, it’ll still have the film grain. I doubt the scenes with the CGI robots have much grain, as expected. So keep waiting for your magical Bluray version, maybe they’ll re-shoot the entire film to your standards and maybe then you’ll be happy.
What kind of specs do I need to play these HD files? Will a 1400×900 monitor, 2.0ghz c2d, 2gb ram and 256mb video card do the trick? thanks in advance.
@52
25 DL’s voor 18€ is not that expensive anymore.
but like most we’ll be prob be waiting for the x264 version
with 20MB downl,it still would take some time
@ joe
Yeah, I have a similar system and it 1080p releases work fine.
i hope some kind hearted pirate releases a wmv or mp4. the only possible way i can view 1080p is on my xbox360. my pc would probably catch fire
[singing]Transformers,
More than meets the eye!
Autobots wage their battle to destroy the evil forces of the Decepticons.
Transformers,

Tranformers,

TRANSFORMERS! [/singing]
I wonder what ‘tard would waste their time downloading this?
Someone needs to be punched in the head for releasing anything that can’t be burned to a single disc. =\
oh yeah baby , the whola package..this is the one to get
@ lucidharmony
Dude, stop bragging about your pc….you need to get out more. Besides, you probably dont even have that stuff anyway, otherwise you wouldn’t be spouting about it in a message board that isn’t related to pc hardware anyway….
@steve
dont worry, you can download 1dvd, 2dvd, 13g, 26g, appletv, or wmv xbox360. HA
Shia LaBeouf = TALENTLESS HASBEEN. Megan Fox = TALENTLESS HASBEEN W/ ILLEGALLY LOW IQ.
where can i get this movie?
Does people waiting for x264 version realize that AVC/MPEG4 is the same thing?
What you really want is a version compressed to fit a DVD-5 or DVD-9, the codec has nothing to do with with…
Can the xbox 360 play the wmv files on a dvdr via its dvd and/or hd dvd player? i dont want to stream from pc.
I wouldn’t download more than 4 GB (DVD/720p) of this film.
were do CtrlHD release their torrents?
HDBits?
will wait for a 720p scene release, it`ll be easier to find!
It won’t take long to download if you have a university internet connection….but still. 26 gb!….
….GPS TRACKING?
…hmnnnnnn
…does no one read nfo`s???
….tracked far and wide…to all the places where it can have only come from here huh?
Hey axxo sux!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!dont post here!
LOL 26.GB HD movies are going to kill us.I’m not downloading this one cuz I’ve seen this one and its not worth 26GB, i saw my with pretty good quality, and it was only 700 MB
Dvix FTW
I’m insane enough to get this, HDD space is plenty cheap and abundant, some of us hate putting discs in and want everything accessible instantly from anywhere in a household. I am one of those suckers.
do want steal that hddvd rip from the private tracker that offers it and put it here on public? think twice about that
25gbz 2 public is impossible 2 work out anywayz
720p and 1080p rips are coming at the end of the weekend…
Who cares if it’s not a scene release or not, related to movies you usually get better quality from NONE scene releases vs Scene releases, they got to moronic rules, like 700MB for an 1,5 hour movie… LOL, I say 1,4GB minimum for anything of that lenght to be good quality, it’s just utterly mega compressed end blurred out looks always garbage from ANY scene release.
Anyone who follows hd/br non-scene full disc rips should know ctrlhd. Their rips are often, not always, used as a source for 720p/1080p x264 encodes. So they are good at what they do.
25 gb, holy crap. I didn’t even know the torrent platform could support such a size.
Can someone say where is the torrent????q
NOW YOU CAN SEE THERE ASS HOLE.
First all the idiotic news posts, then the Crysis demo, and now this. Why do you even call this releaselog anymore? And 26 gigs for a pretty OK but still average movie? No thanks…
…oh this thread works on so many levels..
Where i can take ctrlhd full disc rips
please ?
If I wanted something high quality to watch, I’d rent it or buy it but until then I am quite content to download a regular 700meg movie w/ adequate sound. Anything more than that is overkill and people who are more willing to spend hours pulling a 26gig file down instead of the above really need to re-examine their lifestyle.
Groups should be releasing 700meg movies and stop with the damn 800-900meg rips which are USELESS. 2 Disc releases are a PITA because who wants to get up in the middle of a flick to ‘insert disc 2′ which harkens back to the pre-dvd9 days of 2 DVD movies.
Nuke THAT!
rs links?
loolll joking
I never downloaded HD movies before, but seriously what do you do with a 26GB movie file — I guess you buy a new harddrive
Mpeg4/AVC is h.264.
For those people who don’t understand technical stuff…
I’ll say it again,
AVC is 264!
Don’t let the mpeg4 part confuse your little brains.
Mpeg4 part 10 is also called AVC which is usually mislabeled as h.264.
Got it?
Who the hell would take a 264 hd-dvd, then compress it to xvid(mpeg4) and end up with a 26GB file?
Think before you open your orifices!
85: Why bother split movies? Who the heck use CD’s nowdays? I meen DVD’s is out there, everywhere, and 25 GB? well thats just about 1 to 2 hours to dl that file nothing mayor.
dude your be better off buying DVD’s and record the dam movie, and wtf do really wanna download 25 GB , man you are crazy
WTF with a decent broadband connection this will take at lest couple of day’s of download and after it’s finished downloading you will watch a movie of 1h 50m movie. you gotta be kidding me.
i like the 700MB movies, i download them in 2h 30m and watch them.Average movie 1h 30m so almost 1:2 ratio.
so i guess I’m a bit smarter than you
if you got a real broadband connection it will take about 30-35 hours to get it, remmber broadband is 2,5Mbit anything less then this is not broadband even if your ISP insist it is.
The max I download is 1.6 GBs… if I’m desperate. I don’t like 2 CDs movies. I rather a compressed axxo 700mb.
I don’t burn them, but it saves a lot of space on my HD.
way to big for me.. would like a 720p 4GB version..

It would take me about 34 hours to download this. Thats at a solid 200 kb/s. I wouldnt even begin to try to download this through torrents. it would take probably like 8 to 10 days. NG’s all the way.
@Ashwin (staff)
Whats the point of downloading HD movies if you haven’t got a modern PC? Idiot.
Ok, its interesting to see people complain about different style releases.
Some get pissy when files don’t fit onto a single CD. Others want larger files, more files, less files, fit onto a disc, etc.
People need to realize that their way of watching movies is not the way EVERYONE watches them. If the scene releases in one format, half the people are gonna get pissed. Single CD sized files are nice, but quality is lacking for a lot of movies, especially long ones. Two disk releases are better, but like somebody said, changing disks is annoying.
For those who don’t burn to disk, the idea of squeezing movies into a specific size seems stupid. A file size should be determined by movie length and compression quality.
Personally I use a server with about a Terabyte of storage and use my network to stream them around the house. Modded x-boxs are amazing for this, XBMC is a dream. Burning disks seems archaic to me.
So, what I’m trying to say, to all the people who just post flame-bait or rip on s specific release, SHUT UP UNLESS YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE A VALID ARGUMENT.

opp’s sorry about that
This release is out at http://www.thepiratebay.com tho at 23 gb, same rìp?
lee welton wat an idiot,lol
seriously who would actually get this 26gb,just for a movie.u must be nuts.
People with HD tvs unlike you
yay. Megan Fox’s ass in 1080p! today is a good day.
Maybe most of the flame-baits above, think this 26 GB is a lot to DL, but that’s nothing compared to 110 GB worth when downloading a TV series, such as for example, SG1 all ten seasons rolled into one torrent.
A couple of years ago, the best personal computer at that time was a 486 DX with just a 540MB hard drive. Anyone back then downloading a 650MB video size CD was thought to be considered just crazy, like the above flame-baits thinking for a 26 GB video.
Hitachi is already coming out with 4 TB hard drives, perhaps for the consumers in 2008? The point is, as more individuals use the Internet, their bandwidth will become the issue as how long it takes to download or upload.
With better algorithms will come smaller sized videos, but at the performance requirements of faster processing. So stop complaining, start innovating solutions please.
GO SNAKE GO!
i’ll buy a magashares card if you finish this upload.
nice.
I’m waiting for a 8gb 1080p x264 rip to appear on usenet. I hope ESiR does the first release.

25GB MAX per WEEK download.
just drop $10 and get a megashares account.
MPAA … your size comparisons are noted but 26gigs for almost 2.5 hours of movie vs 110gigs 10×20x45mins of Episodes of SG1 is NOT a very good comparison.
26 gigs for 1 movie is plain stupid. What next 10 gig tv episodes???
List of ‘tards not spending $15-25 on a dvd and instead wasting their time downloading 26gigs for one movie and being a cheap b@st@rd.
-lee welton
waiting 4 720p dvd9 rls (hope from septic)
@steve
DO you own a 50+” HDTV?? if not then STFU.
you need to experience the thrill of watching a HDDVD on a 1080p HDTV.
comparing HDDVD to DVD is like compare CD to an audio cassette.
really LucidHarmony no need to try to impress.
So lee, whats your point?… proving to us that you’re a ‘tard, I guess!…
)
Steve has made a god point, though!
@haha, you need to experience a d!ck in your A55!… probably a HD-d!ick you do you fine!
@108… first, a series is more than 2h of playtime… well, I couldn’t expect a more fuc|ked up comparison than from a mafioso like you!
… and second, a couple of years ago means 2 years!… so 2 years ago we only had 540 MB HDD… let me guess, all this fast-passed evolution of technology fried your brain?
@94, razor, man… I hope you finish that soon… cause these fools really think that having 1080p is better! (at wasting bandwidth)
And yeah… a few guys above pointed out that a AVC/MPEG-4 is a.k.a. H.264.
What you see after the name… the x264 tag
… that’s the encoder used to recompress the movies. It’s not a codec and it’s not a different format. THIS IS LIKE x264!
where us the torrent?
Can i play this movies on my PS3?
at 26GB they could have just given us the ISO image of the HDDVD. yeah sure we cant do much with it – but whats the point of converting and still getting the same size?
@118
wow, you are the person who thinks the dvdrip from UnseeN had the best quality… and said that this is not worth dling cause the picture is grainy?? gtfo
couple of years ago means 2 years?? haha
Bolt656
this is the original HDDVD.
Too many newbs here…
@59 Steve: probably the same tards that wanna dl 26Gb of 1080p to watch it on 1400×900 rez (@54 joe).
as for limiting releases to one disc: Which discs do YOU want it on? 100Mb ZIP? 2.88MB floppy? What – you don’t use them anymore? You use the larger CD storage media now, you say? Well so did we. ’twas called yester day.
Torrent???
this has only been up since yesterday
http://thepiratebay.org/tor/3861419/07.10.27.Transformers.HDDVD.REMUX.1080P.H264.DDPlus.DD51-SiLU
I am getting 100 kb down. 2 days to go!
yes ‘tard… a couple of years ago means 2 years… ‘tard!
yes ‘tard… UnSeeN’s is the best DVD Rip version… even with prof!… but I’m not wasting my time telling you where to find it
no ‘tard… the picture insn’t grainy… it’s too grainy for a nice release… deblocking filtering should smooth out the image… but for that we have to wait for a reencode or a 720p original release
no ‘tard… I’m not gonna gtfo!
Is it possible for PS3 playing Transformers HD DVD 1080p AVC/MPEG-4 DD-CtrlHD?
hey everyone was noobs once.
feffrey, I saw this torrent, but I want the subs too…
Does anyone knows the torrent from the this ctrlHD group??
Guys. 720p is FINALLY OUT!!!

See that on BluRay
http://img81.imageshack.us/img81/6954/transformersblurayvc110hi5.jpg
Why the scene says “x264″ ?
x264 is a software : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X264
whereas H264 is a codec : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H.264
I never understood that.

to those fvcktard who do not understand:
This rls is NOT CONVERTED in any way.
It simply decrypt a HD-DVD then copy the video data and one audio stream then remux them back again.
To those don’t have a 1920 monitor/TV and still downloading this rls:
STFU, GTFO, RTFM!
So simple question,
How do i play this on my PC? I got a brand new pc with a 8800GTS+ HDMI out and a Panasonioc Viera 42″ Plasma, so, What do i need to codec this and play it?
Death, no one said it’s converted… but just because it’s a direct stream rip doesn’t mean it won’t need the same codecs as the converted x264 releases.
Caesar, if you have a good dual core cpu try the CoreAVC codec.
If it’s to exhausting… you might want to try PowerDVD 7 with PureVideo support installed which will take advantage of you GFX card. Don’t know the results though. If you google for: purevideo 1.02-223 rapidshare
… you’ll find it. Also make sure u have the latest ForceWare drivers. First try the PowerDVD+PureVideo solution, and if it doesn’t work try Media Player Classic + CoreAVC +/- AC3Filter.
disappointed. this is a raw blueray directory. the first item to be expanded is an .evo file.
i have never been able to figure out how to play this things.
even powerdvd has not worked out.
LOL.
ah well.
And the torrent to the 26GB HD DVD????
WOW
You guys can’t get 10 to 20 mbps… well that sucks… but as it stands it’s about 20 hours for me to download this.
