Top Gear iz back! Just finished watching it on the BBC 2, and 15minutes after finished airing British group RiVER is already here with the 1 CD release. It was a verry funny episode, but check for yourselves, wont spoil anything:) . I’ve included the trailer that you can watch while you’re downloading the new episode ;)

Motoring news and views from the usual team. Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May decide to buy second-hand lorries despite knowing almost nothing about the world of trucks, and then set about discovering how easy it is to be an HGV driver. Which turns out to be a lot harder than they thought.

Jeremy is also on the test track with a scary Porsche 911, a tame Lamborghini Gallardo and a surprisingly talented Labrador. And chat show legend Michael Parkinson is the Star In A Reasonably Priced Car.

    Why on earth top gear is not broadcast in HD is beyond me? I saw the polar special was released on blue-ray but why the episodes are not broadcast in HD is strange. It is perhaps because they use too many cameras to make it viable, but christ, it is 2008 and this is one of the BBCs biggest shows. People shoudln’t stand for this! I am pretty sure it is shot in SD so it is unlikely therefore that there will be blue-rays coming out at anytime.

    On a lighter note, River, you forever amaze me at how quick you get these damn things released. I am sure someone involved reads the comments here, so give youselves a pat on the back!

    I saw a Jeremy Clarkeson quote saying HD would add 20% production budget so there was no point.

    On another note – where could I find a decent quality rip of Top Gear – not a single 700mb avi file?

    Does anyone encode in a higer bit-rate?

    @30 Christ i know what you mean, i tried watching the Australian version. Shame on our aussie chums, from the nation that produced the quality that is neighbours, such tat! I used to love neighbours but now it has moved to bloody channel 5, i cant be arsed with it. Bloody weight watchers!
