So who’s going to win the race on top gear today ? ANGELiC or RiVER. For reasons that they don’t quite understand, top gear is going to air at 9PM instead of the usual 8pm. Today Jeremy, James and Richard participate in their first ever motor race, a greulling 24 hour endurance marathon. James does not infact get lost and Richard crashes… again. It should not be too long until the torrent shows up on NewTorrents.

The team take part in a 24 hour endurance race in which they find the going very difficult. James test drives the new Fiat 500 around the roads of Budapest.

    Depends, do you have a dynamic IP address? Because the only way Rapidshare tracks you is through your IP addy. If you can change it between downloads there is no wait time. It won’t be as fast as someone with an account, but it defeats the wait time between downloads.

    Great episode this one, the endurance racing was hilarious. The new fiat looks pretty stunning as well, especially the dashboard inside. More cars should have a feature like that.

    Another thing is that british humour is of cruel nature. If you have actually watched one episode you would realise why he and his co-presenters are so popular. Their way of presenting the show is one of the few reasons why I watch the show. I actually find it amusing that you find his comments about americans offensive. If you heard what he says about americans you would probably also laugh.

    Take it easy and enjoy the show, because at the end of the day it is only a show.

    I can keep making counter-arguments all night and waste time. But like I said unless you know him in real life, you can’t base your opinions of him that quickly, especially off a “wiki”. Anyway yes he made those remarks and nobody is denying that but they are harmless. How offensive is fat? How offensive is dull?

    I am sorry but thats hardly offensive people nowadays make mountains out of mole-hills its silly. People are soo sensitive its ridiculous. Like I said before take on people that are what i term “proper” racists.

    These comments made by clarkson hardly offend in my opinion and I am sure many others will back me on this.

    Anyway back to the topic of this thread. A good episode, not the best but I thoroughly enjoyed the day-night racing part. And yes Dude I did see those words on the side and laughed, they do mention them not having proper sponsors. Again it re-emphasises how serious the show/comments made on it should be taken.

    i have already stated that i havnt based my opinions on that wikipage, i just used it to back up my opinion as it was the first result when i typed in “racist clarkson” in google.

    My opinion is based on the 18years i have lived in england and all of the negative media that i have read/seen about him being both a racist and a homophobe. And you can say that “unless you know him in real life, you can’t base your opinions of him that quickly”…I never met Hitler, and im pretty sure he was a big ol racist.You know why? because i based my opinion on the media that i have read/seen on him.

    Seriously, you didn’t just compare clarkson to hitler. Ohh dear… Anyway I guess majority of the people in the world are considered jackasses by you because of the homophobia debate. People have opinions and there isn’t anything wrong with it.

    I wouldn’t brand clarkson as a racist because his comments aren’t malicious (fat and dull = joke). I would consider things which bring hatred towards a race as racism. And the fact that american population is commonly conceived as “overweight” and many films/documentries re-inforcing these points, it doesn’t mean hes out to get them.

    About homophobia there can be many arguments made for and against and its a different topic all together, but in essence its down to how comfortable you are with the idea of homosexuality and its a tricky situation and some people don’t agree with it but doesn’t mean its homophobia its simply an opinion.

    And for media I am sure you know everything about media. I hope you aren’t one of those people that believes in everything you read. I would like to re-call a certain incident involving Prince Harry, he decided to wear a nazi uniform to a “fancy-dress” party. The media went berserk and assumed a whole load of things. There are many other incidents with media and blowing stories out of proportions because of stereotypes and bias. It’s a bloody fancy dress it doesn’t necessarily mean anything.

    Anyway I value your opinion, but I don’t see clarkson as a racist (he doesn’t fulfil my criteria for a racist). As for homophobe, I am uncomfortable with the idea of homosexuality but does that make me a homophobe even though I have nothing against them as “people”. There is a fine line there I believe.

    I hope you enjoy my point of view on all this. At the end of the day if you like the show watch it, if you don’t then don’t watch it. Its as simple as that, If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything thats my motto, but I do believe in freedom of speech and putting forward points of view.

    By the way I don’t know whether you picked up sarcasm in my earlier posts but ye the whole smell thing was a joke. Lighten up dude :) .

    Believe it or not, I am a british citizen and have lived in Britain all my life. If you read the article further than his admission you will understand why he says that.

    Its his opinion, nothing more to it and most of all its a bloody joke. Also confirms my point about entertainment, that if he didn’t make it exciting and humourous nobody would watch it because I think apart from the humour the show doesn’t have too much else going for it.

    Just imagine Top Gear without the sarcasm, whit, insane ideas and funny remarks in general. I guarantee that it wouldn’t be where it is now and shows like Fifth Gear would overtake them (no pun intended) because they appeal to normal drivers like me.

    Its all about the ratings! Boring doesn’t bring you viewers worldwide. And yes I know there are more ways to make people laugh than to make jokes about people but thats the way they are and thats the way a lot of brits are, including me. And its not like clarkson continously makes the so-called “racist” jokes.

    Our humour is cruel! you should know that.

    I personally don’t know whats inside clarkson’s heart or anybody else’ except my own, and for me to say whether he is a racist or not racist isn’t right. All I can say for his defense is that its all entertainment and the comments weren’t that bad. Thats simply my opinion and I respect your opinion too.

    Unless I see him maliciously insulting a person of a different race based purely on their background I can’t say anything for sure.

    Nice too see 2people can have contrasting opinions and still talk to each other with respect.

    I personally dont know whats in his head either, but i know what ive read and made me decision acordingly. Thats my opinion anyways, and your just as intitled to yours.

    Just letting anyone know who’s downloading the link in #9’s comment that they can stop. It’s a fake file trying to get you to download the Divo codec….divo codec is a known malware program and not actually a codec at all.
