    Woah! It seems these guys are getting quicker every week. This episode only finished on BBC2 40 minutes ago. Was a pretty good one, but the motorhome racing surely took the cake.

    What does the description mean by “Motoring magazine show”?

    a magazine show is a show made up of a collection of segments (like articles) and it is about motoring, hence motoring magazine show

    Wasn’t the best episode but still had it moments, mainly towards the end.

    Alright, that clears things up then. Might have to hunt a copy of the magazine down then…

    I’m having trouble playing the video; I used HJSplit to merge the files and it doesn’t play. I tried to do WinRAR to extract but it doesn’t recognize the .001 file, hence the reason why I used HJSplit. Is this file AVI and is anyone else having this problem?

    @17

    Use HJsplit, then open it in vlc, it will ask you to repair it, just click no and it will play fine.

    So is it a bad rip? Shouldnt it be nuked then?

    @19

    No its not a bad rip, everything works perfectly. The guy above is having problems joining the video from the RS links.

    The last couple of minutes are cut off, and tbh, it shouldnt be saying it needs repairing constantly.

    Had a slight problem with the above version – it would play back, but it would buffer for a while first & then would corrupt when you skipped to a new point.

    I ran it through VideoFixer & it found this error:

    Corrupted data detected at frame 87661
    Error offset: 713416000 ($2A85DD40)

    Not sure if its specific to one of my downloaded files, but all files seemed to download fine.

    Sounds like a bad rip to me considering I’m not the only one. The download and file merging seemed to go without a problem, which would indicate the rip itself was bad.

    must just be the rapidshare upload, i downloaded it off usenet and seeded it on torrent so i know that torrent people’s should be fine because mine played perfectly

    Syntax,

    If you don’t want to download it again, run it through VideoFixer & it should be fine to watch.

    That’s the advantage of RAR – it will tell you which file is the dud.
