Here is another episode of Australia’s Top Gear. This is not the original, its the clone (last time i said “inspired” but many disagreed) of it, sound pretty interesting ay? I watched the first one and got sick of it, i missed the original. There is only eight episodes, 5 more to go.

5 too many left unfortunately. This show is crap.
Dont get me wrong, I’m an Aussie, but quite frankly feel this show is unauthentic at best as far as the whole Australian thing goes… The quality of the actual content itself is also beyond a joke – The challenge things or whatever are quite unoriginal, and arent funny at all.
Best to leave the brit’s to do what they do best (Top Gear) And stop making continent spin-offs. That also goes for all other great shows that were ruined the same way… Kath and Kim, The Office, The IT Crowd, Coupling, Queer as Folk, etc etc etc

Top Gear Australia can’t be compared with the original show, but if you stop comapring it and look at it as an individual show, it definately is just as good or better than many of th e other car programs out there.
Anyway, the new series of Top Gear UK is out on th 2nd of November

UK top gear is my favourite show, but this is terrible. Boring, overly scripted, poor presenting, uninteresting, trash.
1st season of Top Gear UK sucked ass aswell. 20years of top gear UK vs 3 eps of AU. Guess again people!

This is the worst, crapest, most pathetic show on tv in Australia right now. With the exception of Today Tonight.
It is just a rip off of the original British version of Top Gear.

I decided to take a look at the first episodes of Top Gear Australia but they were awful. The australian show is a mere clone of the british one: three presenters with more or less the same characteristics of the british counterparts, the stig in the same whitish suit, the same identical studio, the same recycled jokes. I was hoping for something more original than this. The australian Top Gear is not funny at all and it lacks energy, it is a total failure so far. All of course IMHO.

‘What were they thinking?’-yes what were you thinking Australia when you made this disgrace to the TGUK franchise.
You realise guys you can’t just make a clone of a show without permission?
Which in other words means TGUK sold them the rights and most likely had alot to do with what Australia could do with the show.
Which didn’t turn out very well.

Yes Top Gear UK is awesome, and this Oz version isnt. But why ppl complain about it being a copy?. Its a franchise, just like Idol/Dance/Big Brother/Talent/5th Grader etc etc

They should have gotten a female presenter too (5th gear)
