    Good grief, you PC users are so painfully slow!

    It's tagged in Mac, it has MACOSX at the end of the release name, and you're all asking about the PC version…

    You ever heard of a search engine? Maybe you ought to try mastering Google before you move onto pro graphics software..? No?

    Fine, suit yourselves…
    PC VERSION:

    No pass, enjoy. And try google in future.

    Oh and "PC" 12 is blowing bubbles out of the place where the sun doesn't shine. Why use emulators when there's a PC native version… Still, serves you right if you're dumb enough to believe him.

    15 you are a fool. you can download a dmg to exe converter and make an iso that you can use in windows. or run it under a mac emulator. either way both work fine.

    @ 19

    Lulz. Good luck with that, my friend. When you get a working .exe of final cut pro, let me know – I wonder why all those n00bs spent all that time on the osx86 project: they should've just asked you for this magical dmg>exe converter.

    And yes, of course you can use virtualisation, but that isn't exactly the same as a PC VERSION, is it?

    Really, some people…

    @2 I downloaded this and it just extracted 66 .zip files an file called file_id.diz and a NFO.
    am I doing something wrong or is UnRarX not working correctly?

  24. lao tzu
    June 2nd, 2009 | 02:25

    @28 Mousetrap

    The .nfo doesn't go into much detail, but it's quite straightforward really. Here's an idiots guide (not saying you are an idiot, but just in case :) )

    1) Unrar the two parts you downloaded
    2) Unzip each of the 66 .zips that made
    3) Copy all of the 66 .rar and .r00 .r01 etc files into a folder, then unrar the .rar
    4) You now have a folder (TOON.BOOM.STORYBOARD etc) containing the .iso of Storyboard pro, and a nested folder (GRB) containing a .jpg and a .zip.
    5) Mount or burn the iso and install Storyboard pro
    6) Unzip the file in the GRB folder, and copy the unzipped .app file to the directory where you installed.

    @29 lao tzu
    Thanks for the help. Unziping and collecting all 66 zips seems a bit overkill but it did work. Thanks.

    @Mousetrap

    Couldn't agree more. Blame GRB. I've never understood why some groups split stuff into tiny files, then merge them all into bigger .rar's. Maybe it has something to do with avoiding anti-piracy measures. Or maybe the groups just like to take their releases round to their friends' houses on a few thousand floppy disks…

    Glad to help, anyways!

    An interesting discussion is worth comment. I think that you should write more on this topic, it might not be a taboo subject but generally people are not enough to speak on such topics. To the next. CheersHello! I just would like to give a huge thumbs up for the great info you have here on this post. I will be coming back to your blog for more soon.
