@Martin: Please be aware that there is no singular form of ’series’ in English. Please excuse me for pointing out your mistakes, but I am not a native English speaker myself, and it’s just a mistake you seem to make quite frequently.

You might consider using the “United States English Dictionary-Plugin” for Firefox, which helps quiet a lot already, as it points out mistakes in spelling by underlining them while you write words in firefox (similiar to the function in Ms-Word).

Again please excuse my rudeness, but I think if you write to an audience of tens of thousands of people, you should at least do some spell-checking on anything you post. Bear in mind that as your audience grows, you also gain a certain responsibility for the education of younger readers or foreign readers, who might learn wrong spellings from your texts.
