All fans of skateboarding and particulary Tony Hawk should focus now. Tony Hawk Secret Skatepark Tour 2 is a sequel of quite successfull “tour movie”, again commented by probably the most respected skateboarder of all time, Tony Hawk. You will enjoy a great footage of the best skateboarders (I especially liked Rodney Mullen) performing their tricks in the best skateparks all around the United States. I’m not sure if this is a movie material, you can see similar clips at Extreme channel or other TV programmes, but when it’s free there’s no reason to ignore it.

Tony Hawk’s Secret Skatepark Tour DVD is back and with an amazing group of friends showing up at skateparks unannounced, surprising the locals and ripping parks in Oregon, Montana, Indiana, Cayman Islands, and culminating in a big demo in Athens, Georgia. With excited fans calling their friends, it doesn’t take long before the parks are overflowing with hundreds of skaters, fans, TV news crews and even police. Once enough tricks get thrown down, it’s time to move on to the next park.

    I don’t respect any skateboarder. It’s not even a sport. It is about image, clothes and music over sport.

    I have never seen Football music or clothes, I don’t see baseball players running aroung doing stunts (eg jackass which tony was in)

    Real sports have rules not personalities.

    Skateboarding fad in the 80’s with teenies, fad in 2000’s with teenies.

    So all you skater kids with your skater shoes and skater pants and skater shirts and skater music can try to defend this now. But adults know what I mean. Kids! Ha Ha Ha!

    @22 – Sounds like someone couldn’t hack it skating – whassamatter, you break one ankle, then give it up forever? Don’t hate on skaters – that stuff takes real balls and raw talent…..I remember the first time I pulled of an ollie, how jacked I was…..

    Man, I couldn’t hack it skating. I tried once and only managed a face plant, but I still am in awe of Tony Hawk and the rest, even his kids are amazing. I like watching these and playing the video games (I don’t get hurt as much) lol

    tony hawk is an oldschoool skater. he’s been skating and winning
    comps since he was yay high. and they were both on Gleaming the
    Cube. Mullen played Slater’s double when he did the freestyle tricks. And at that dude hating on skaters–go hang yourself right now.

    -Actually, it’s quite hard once you try it. It’s very difficult to maintain your balance, for manuals and ground tricks, and let’s not even get into ramps. I don’t deny there’s some idiots out there, like that Ryan MTV kid who sucks, but not every skater is a joke like him.

    -Yeah, I suppose nobody owns football jerseys sponsored by the NFL, or ESPNs Jock Jams.

    -Tony wasn’t in Jackass (only a guest appearance once), Bam Margera was in Jackass (as a regular). They are NOT the same. Bam has talent, but he’s more fit to the description of the image guy that you’re giving. Tony has been skating well before Jackass.

    Real sports have rules not personalities.
    -Serious skate competitions have rules. Free skating is not much different than shooting hoops in the hood court with your buddies. Still, no score maintained in free skate, which, even though I’m not against that, proves you have a point.

    -True for the image kids, like parachute pants and headbands, but some people actually take it seriously, all in 80’s, 90’s, 2000’s, etc.

    -Actually, I’m an adult myself, and I’ve got to acknowledge that there are some talented skaters out there. But the hacks and kids that don’t take it seriously are class A clowns, no argument there.

    @Hater: If you´d seen this movie ..! The last DEMO was announced and ALL those kids YOU meant showed up, BUT the SECRET APPEARANCES in the other 8 skate parks (don´t count CAYMAN) demonstrate what skateboarding´s all about. Even the Pro´s LIVE skateboarding. That´s why it´s not only the sport, but music, clothes …

    i still remember the first time i saw the video ‘Bones Brigade’ in junior high back in the 80s.. skating was so cool back then.. you can travel around the world, and when you meet another fellow skater, you’ve got a friend. these days it’s all about video games and mainstream ‘extreme sport’ and ‘jackass’ bonehead bullsh*t.. which is why i quit skating about 10 yrs ago..lol
