TomTom Navigator v7.910.9185 Multilanguage PPC WM5 WM6-GiZPDA

This is probably the very first time you see a PocketPC application posted on RLSLOG but this new release from group GiZPDA really deserves it. TomTom Navigator 7 is one of the best software you can get for your PDA or PocketPC device and this new version works on both Windows Mobile 5 and WM 6. Of course, this is just the core application, you need to download maps as well to make it work.

With the TomTom Navigator 6 Software with Maps of the US and Canada (DVD) you never need to be lost again, wherever you are, whatever you are doing. TomTom’s Navigator 6 software is designed for people who already own a PDA with GPS functionality, or a PDA with Bluetooth and a separate Bluetooth GPS receiver. This package provides all the Navigator 6 software with maps of the complete US and Canada on a DVD, which once installed on your PDA will let you know not only where you are going, but exactly how best to get there.

The TomTom Navigator 6 software is not only effortless to install, but easy to use with a touch-screen user menu that gives you an intuitive navigation experience, and an inherent portability that lets you take it with you anywhere, whether in your car, on your bike, or on foot. The TomTom Navigator 6 software has complete maps of the United States, including Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico, as well as all the Canadian provinces. This software gives you the convenience of thousands of pre-installed Points of Interest from restaurants to gas stations, allowing you to search by proximity to your current location, along your route, near a specific city and more, as well as letting you plan your route to fit your requirements, be they quickest, shortest, avoiding toll roads, or many others.

Features:

  • Easy to install and use: The simple installation with TomTom HOME will get you on the road in minutes. The intuitive user menu gives you the perfect navigation experience.
  • Detailed maps of 20 countries across Western Europe on DVD: Door-to-door navigation in 20 Western European countries. Choose from a combination of regional maps or install one connected map of all of Western Europe on a 1GB memory card (not included).
  • Clear and accurate spoken and visual instructions: Easy to follow route instructions and crystal clear 2D or 3D maps lead you from door-to-door whether you travel by car, by bike or on foot
  • Easy call handling: Never miss a call or SMS message while navigating through on-screen instructions.
  • Navigate direct to contacts stored in your address book

This release is new in the scene. But I've got my GPS (Windows CE 5.0 based) running the 7.910.9185 for months. As lots of forums already got it.

For those asking for maps just google for some info depending on the country/continent you want to use, the 815XXX are the latest.

Some of these "no password" .rar archives have password protected .rar archives within the orinal rar archive! It almost seems like they removed the first password without extracting the archive within the archive to try it they just re-upped it. I have confirmed this as working on my HTC XV6900 equipped with WM6.1

    http://rapidshare.com/files/180118524/TT_Navi_V79109185.rar

i think maps from the older versions can be loaded, im not sure what version my maps are from.

This works on any Wm5 or Wm6 equipped PDA even Cell phone Pdas with built in or bluetooth GPS modules. I have an HTC XV6700 and XV6900 aka Touch both have the program cabs loaded and im installing on my XV6900 now i am going to test on my 6700 with an external bluetooth GPS device later to see how that works. My Sprint XV6900 (hacked to work on the verizon network) has a built in module.

  73. AB
    January 5th, 2009 | 23:33

@72 – You're an idiot if you think the 3rd party app world revolves around Blackberry. Most Blackberry users struggle to get beyond the idea of having email on a phone and still think that's pretty special!

    January 5th, 2009 | 23:50

    @73

look im not saying that the 3rd party app world should revolve around a single device/platform. but in all seriousness, an extremely large portion of people who would use software like this would be blackberry users. sure i guess that windows mobile is another large portion, but i would be surprised if it outweighed bb. also, you make an assertion that blackberry users are 'less advanced' in understand their phone's capabilities than windows mobile. why?

  76. DLE
    January 6th, 2009 | 00:10

blackberry, less to work with when modifying compared to what a windows mobile has to offer, and also most blackberrys dont have built in gps that the tom tom can use,
