You know Tom Tom Club. Of course you do. You know Talking Heads? Then you know Tom Tom Club.  They are they, without David Byrne. And you know their songs too. “Wordy Rappinghood” gets used ad-infinitum on everything (as well as being covered by Chicks On Speed), and “Genius Of Love” (one of the greatest pop songs ever written) has been sampled by loads of people – not least Mariah Carey, but let’s gloss over that. This splendid compilation is actually the first TWO albums by Tom Tom Club – the seminal debut, and the lesser known follow-up “Close To The Bone”. So not only are you getting two amazing albums for the price of one, they both have bonus tracks on them too. Let’s not mess around, kids – this is Tom Tom Club, and that makes it even more of a bargain.
