Ubisoft has released a statement about Ghost Recon: Future Soldier on the PC platform, promising that it’s going to launch a variety of updates in order to solve the wide array of bugs encountered by players.
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier came out on consoles last month and, after a sudden delay, finally made its way onto the PC earlier last week.
Sadly for PC gamers who wanted to try it out, the title has a variety of bugs and glitches, ranging from not so severe ones, like dropped multiplayer connections, to serious issues, like not recognizing mouse or keyboard input.
Ubisoft has confirmed that it’s currently aware of these problems and is “working aggressively to correct them as soon as possible.”
Until these updates appear, owners of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier on the PC are asked to be patient.

fwiw I installed the Black box version then the fixed crack, then blocked in firewall. I have not yet installed any updates.
Ran it, UPlay launcher pops up with Login, I went to Settings and ticked Offline, then closed the launcher. Ran the game again and it said Offline I put my own name and password in the boxes, then hit the PLAY button.
All is working well, albeit in mission summary I can’t move mouse but can navigate via keyboard – I just press enter to continue anyway.
All this on a budget mid-range PC, Win 7 x64 logged in with Admin rights.
I need the previous update or is enough this one?

I’ve blocked everything in my firewall and only copied the origin folder to the ubisoft game laucher. But when loading the game, it auto-updated to 1.2 and worked without applying a new crack!
1.1 needs to be applied first, then this 1.2 and then the cracked 1.2 from skidrow.

My friends kept telling me not to use this crack or release. Actually I didn’t and I still don’t because mine is a legitimate copy. But I’m curious, is it true that this crack actually is the v1.1 crack and not the v1.2 one? Anybody can confirm this?
Not that I’m interested in using this crack, but if this is indeed the v1.1 crack then SKIDROW released a fake one and lied to all of you because the crack was named v1.2, unless it is named v1.1 crack.

Warning if you install this update , pirated or from official site you will have significant LOWER FRAMERATE.
The vanilla skidrow release was working perfectly fine once i figured out that my nvidia GPU needed more voltage on my overclocking to fix the crashes. However, once i installed the 1.2 patch, introduced some new bugs such as blurry textures, weird shadows and random freezes/CTD that would not go away. A quick visit to the Ubisoft forums confirmed my suspicions. Will be reinstalling back to vanilla and await a better patch. Avoid this 1.2 patch like the plague folks!
And we should pay for this kind of crap. It’s like to buy a car that have allkinds of bugs, doors opening for them selves, half of engine missing, seats heating on hot summer day, etc… And then you have to drive to car seller every month to collect missing parts of the car and fix it,LOL
Avoid this patch! After installing and playing it for a while, it crashed and the Game Launcher crashes everytime I want to play again. Had to uninstall and install again to continue playing.

Hey it’s pretty obvious that comment 44 & 54 are pretty much the same person, probably some delusional/deranged AMD fan trying to blow smoke up everyone’s @ss with regards to using Nvidia cards. The links given to nvidia forums have no relation to Future Soldier at all. Give it a rest, “cowgirl”.

I don’t have any framerate problem with the game and latest patch (I’m not using crack so I cannot confirm anything my friends told me). Got settings cranked up to max (minus AA, because I’m using 1920×1080) and just slightly lagging (recent version’s 40-something fps vs. out-of-the-box version’s capped 60 fps). I’m using 2 GTX 690 but use only one card (have to disable SLI because this ported game doesn’t support it, which is a shame). There were some few random lockups though, but it was already confirmed by official Ubisoft staff on the forum.

You’re so biased you forgot to read what users playing Future Soldier had to say on Ubisoft’s forum. I ran the game using one of my GTX 690′s with 301.48 and everything went smoothly, apart from random lockups. All the issues I’m having with the game were already confirmed by Ubisoft on its forum and they had NOTHING to do with the driver. NVIDIA is not the one to blame. It’s Ubisoft.
