To Kill A King 2003 BluRay 1080p VC1 5.1 WMV-IGUANA
IGUANA (yes, big I) comes back from nowhere with To Kill a King (2003) in 1080p BluRay. They did a nice job on the 5.1 audio and ofcourse, 1080p is fine too. I can’t say anything about this movie since I never heard, but IMDB users like it: 6.1/10.
Set in 17th century England in the aftermath of the English Civil War, this is the story of the post-war relationship between General Fairfax (Scott), who led the Parliamentary forces to victory against the army of King Charles I, and Oliver Cromwell (Roth), the leader of the Parliament and “Lord Protector of England”. Friends during the war, their political differences drive them apart as they’re forced to decide how to build a new England, and what to do with King Charles. British filmmaker Mike Barker directs the political costume-drama To Kill a King. Set in 1645 at the end of the English Civil War, General Thomas Fairfax (Dougray Scott) celebrates the victory with his right-hand man Oliver Cromwell (Tim Roth). Meanwhile, King Charles I (Rupert Everett) is held prisoner, and he appeals to the sensibilities of Fairfax’s wife, Lady Anne (Olivia Williams). The old friends disagree over what to do about the king; Fairfax is willing to compromise and Cromwell is far more strict. The Speaker of the House, Denzil Holles (James Bolam), leads a group of conspirators to make an illegal deal with the king, but they are discovered and subsequently punished. The king is put on trial and executed, leaving Cromwell in charge. The conclusion involves a reunion between Fairfax and a dying Cromwell.

5-7 means it is average at best.

Looks like an interesting movie. I remember watching an old one back in high school about Cromwell. Interesting time period historically speaking.
No torrent for this 1080p version yet, but noticed there is a 720p one from Feb 28. Going to download it instead, hopefully not a fake. Looks legit.

What are WMVHD rip used for anyway?
I cant think any kind of standalone that would play them, except for Xbox 360, and that can play x264(in stereo).
Still though, i’d take x264 quality over 5.1 surround sound.
