im sorry mate the mat is actually soft its a suspended springboard, and it doesnt hurt when a 300lb man lands on you when his 4 main points of contact are the springboard(bridging), yes it takes skill sure but it is not real and only hurts if they get it wrong I practice Bjiujitsu and respect performance, i do not enjoy it at all but my kids love the stuff so keep posting:)

I never said that, as you put it, “buying into” pro wrestling was wrong. If you enjoy it, by all means, go for it. The “buying” part is about the nation’s economy, which absolutely sucks. Nobody’s buying anything. Stores are empty, the housing market is in the dumper, stocks are in free fall, and people are worried about the future. When people, like yourself, actually spend money, whether it’s for wrestling tickets, memorabilia, a new TV, or whatever, you are doing a good thing for your country, regardless of what you are spending it on.

Not too many people believe Heroes or Prison Break depict life as it actually is. Pro wrestling, however, is different. It is portrayed as an actual physical combat, when little could be further from the truth. Many people who are easily led believe that pro wrestling is absolutely real. They are among those believing nearly everything that is shown or said to them. Sadly, without going into politics, I’m sure you’ll agree that these people make up nearly half of the population.

Granted, pro wrestling is often difficult and gruelling. It takes a great deal of physical training, muscle building, and coordination to perform the maneuvers required of wrestling combatants. And sometimes injuries do occur. However, it should be noted that the matches are 100% scripted, the combatants do not dislike each other, the outcome is always predetermined, and that any real injuries are purely accidental. When two people get into a bar fight, that’s real. How often, before they “take it out to the parking lot,” do they sit down and discuss what the outcome should be? Not very often, I’ll bet.

Anyway, that being said, I am glad to see the article posted and I hope there will be many more. Just because I don’t like pro wrestling doesn’t mean that I’d want anyone else not to enjoy it. I just think that anyone who honestly believes that pro wrestling is an actual physical confrontation without a pre-determined “winner,” seriously should sign up for a reality check.

Sometimes i also that pro wrestling and all these WWE shows can never be possible without being scripted and fixed. Yep.. It’s all that goes inside the ring is just for entertainment.. it’s fake (not much of the damage during fights) .. but sometimes it’s really fun to watch. Look at the crowd that gathered at this wreslemania 24.. more than 70000.. People still love this show. And if all these fights were real… the results would be deadly. So sometimes i think it’s just right.
Another fake example is the Vince machmahon’s car explosion.. That was hillarious.

We the REAL fans of wrestling know exactly how it is… plain simple and guess what??? we don´t care!!!!! i rather watch wrestling than those stupid ultimate fighting whatever and you know why???? first i know that in a real fight one hit could end everything, and that´s pretty boring. wrestling is scripted yes, so are the games we play so let´s stop playing games ´cause they were scripted, and movies, and reading books, every way of entertainment is scripted one way or another, that´s why is called entertainment, so stop trying to show to the world the awfull true of wrestling, nobody gives a damn. Better yet keep posting news of any other wrestling releases please!!!!!

Hey just cause I am staff I am not going to rip your nipples off for having an opinion. I welcome the comments on my posts. Now to respond to your comment I do not believe that I am the down fall of America’s youth because I enjoy and / or “buy into” Pro Wrestling… Because catch this…I love Heroes and you mean to tell me that those people really don’t fly around and shape shift? What are you serious? Kristen Bell is just an actress that really can’t shoot lightning from her hands?!? Dammit Heroes sucks now and I am going to stop watching thank you for making me see the light… I love Prison Break as well and you mean to tell me that none of those guys actually got stabbed or shot or from the last season the “chicken foot” fights were all fake?? Damn it is nothing sacred…If i was only entertained by “real” stuff I would have a pretty dismal variety of things to watch…
