    Before the flooding starts, NO this does crack will not work on Windows 7 (current RTM). XP and Vista users should be just fine. Under Win7, you can install the original TMPGEnc program just fine, and it will run (if you've actually purchased a real serial number). You can also "apply" the EMBRACE crack/patch properly in Win7. However, once patched, the EMBRACE crack does indeed change the program's executable just enough for it to crash in Win7.

    Go ahead and try if you want to waste bandwidth. It'll be ERROR 216 when you try to run the patched program. Running as admin won't fix it, applying the patch/crack in compatibility mode won't fix it, installing the TMPGEnc program in compatibility mode won't fix it….

    Vroom, vroom…. crash.

    Win7 users will need a legit serial or a different method to crack this puppy…. the problem has been around for a while now, and we've yet to hear from EMBRACE about a future crack. This post applies to BOTH TMPGEnc DVD Authoring Works 4.0.24 and TMPGEnc Xpress 4.7.3.292.

    In order to get a working version on Windows7 you'll need to go back to version 4.2.something which wasn't cracked by embrace. That's what I've done.

    I've never been able to get an "embrace" one to work
    maybe because i have run older version of tmpgenc

    MeGUI and VirtualDub are used by the scene, why would you use anything else?

    The older versions I had didn't work, crashed like you said. These new versions the Authoring Works 4.0.24 worked fine.

    But the Xpress 4.7.3.292 didn't. The key file didn't work the program keep asking about it. But, it didn't crash either :)

    Xpress Crack does not work for me. I am using Vista Ulimate. The Crack Patches fine and generates the Licence, but when you go to execute the program it presents you with the Serial Activation screen with all the Embrace info but does not let you go further as Authenication fails.

    The only conversion software I use now-a-day is SUPER © Simplified Universal Player Encoder & Renderer. It support and convert to almost all formats and even convert to dixv with AC3 5.1 audio. Best of all, it's free.

    @19 Bustachat, I have the same problem too, I'm on vista 32bit ultimate and the crack doesnt work properly (the install instructions in the NFO are confusing, saying "run the app at least once before generating a license" .. well you CANT run the app until you've got past the serial activation screen, so how the fluck is that possible? d'oh!)

    I got this to working just fine in Windows 7, well it comes on without needing serial anyway, I just go into the patch and change compatibility to Windows XP then patch and change compatibility in the program as well and comes on, but it does change to basic windows basic color scheme.

    I can't believe it, it WORKS on Windows 7 Ultimate, just like Kendall & insanebardo & Windows 7 said it would.
    I have been waiting forever for this to work with 7.

    I do as you say, but I have stil a problem with starting a program.
    I use a ” TAW4_Retail_4.0.4.24_setup_en.exe ” but after starting return a message ” Does not work anymore ” (somethink like this). What can I do wrong?
    Please help.

    @19 bustachat @23 crackrat: run the program in XPsp2 compatibility mode on vista ultimate and it will work. First time, launch it as admin.

    TMPGEnc Xpress 4.7… embrace crack work, but program in compatibility mode not work. Win7 32 bit. (running administrator) :(
