Time Team America S01E01 Fort Raleigh North Carolina HDTV XviD-DVSKY

“Time Team America” is a adaption of the British show “Time Team” where archeologist dig up sites to find out about the history of the site. The only notable difference is the show will be based on American sites not British. Series premiere was released by DVSKY.

EP 1.1 Fort Raleigh North Carolina

The digs begin at Roanoke Island, North Carolina, the home of Fort Raleigh, the first settlement for England in North America, founded in 1586 and now known as the “Lost Colony.” Expedition leader John White returned in 1590 after a 3-year absence to find the settlement empty, leaving behind just a one-word message on the gate…Croatoan.

So yeah, earlier I was blocking ads on this site using Adblock plus (firefox extension) when I noticed one suspicious link. It was for screenaustralia.gov.au. What the heck was that doing on rlslog?

@ #2, Thanks for the single file link nikos!

I always was interested in this story, I like the show from what I have seen so far on the Brit version.

Your country is only 250 years old, what are you gonna find except Native American remnants.

@12 … Couldnt agree more Kim.

I know the US has some fantastic places of historical interest but they are all in 'recent' history so are well preserved/documented.

Perhaps if the show was uncovering Viking settlements of 'Vinland' it would be good. As it is … Well …. The house I live in was built in 1599 so perhaps they should film here!!!

12 and 13, are you BOTH that stupid? What are they going to find? Hmmm, well how about a Viking settlement in Maine that predates your countries by at least 700 years. Or how about a Chinese settlement that is so old that your people were still painting themselves blue, living in caves and screwing their sisters. How about the Serpent mounds that predate your "rude man" and that bunch of stone you seem to venerate so much. Or how about the Cherokee Nation that had laws and a confederation long before you people in Europe placed the very first inbred moron on a rock and called them royalty. A place with streets and building and laws and policemen, and that has been documented as such by no less the Eaton and Rhodes and MIT and Harvard and Yale.
You two are obviously too stupid to own a computer since valid history is not of any interest to you, so why dont you box it back up and return it to the store you bought it from as "hardly used"

#14, for someone who seems to like throwing stones, who, where or what is an Eaton? Are you talking about the hotel in Hong Kong?
Learn to spell before you throw any more caustic barbs..
Thanks for the smile you gave me though.

@16 I agree, spelling and grammar @14 leave a lot to be desired :)
How ever loud he/she wishes to shout though, they're probably still of European descent :)
I think also you'll find the Vikings are quite recent in History, the Romans were in Europe at least 7 centuries before them.
