Thir13en Ghosts 2001 720p BluRay x264-SEPTiC

Haven’t seen SEPTiC for a while here on rlslog but here they are again with a 2001 movie: Thir13en Ghosts (didn’t know people in the movie-scene speak 1337 too :) ) Haven’t seen this movie myself, but I’ve spoken some people that didn’t really like it (and the IMDB rating isn’t that great too). I think you’ll just have to see yourself.

Arthur and his two children, Kathy and Bobby, inherit his Uncle Cyrus’s estate: a glass house that serves as a prison to 12 ghosts. When the family, accompanied by Bobby’s Nanny and an attorney, enter the house they find themselves trapped inside an evil machine “designed by the devil and powered by the dead” to open the Eye of Hell. Aided by Dennis, a ghost hunter, and his rival Kalina, a ghost rights activist out to set the ghosts free, the group must do what they can to get out of the house alive.

This movie is passable. Has some nice scenes, but hardly worth the download in HD.

Maybe for you collectors out there?

Every film you want to watch is worth a download in HD, if you have a huge screen like me DVDRiP’s dont cut it as they look really crap, same with DVD-R they look crap too. HD rips look perfect and crisp.

It all depends on your net speed and screen size.

I thought that it was a half decent horror. Even though there were a lot of special effects, the monsters were real people in makeup. I think that it made the movie scarier. But to really appreciate this movie you have to get the dvd so you can watch the special features. There is some cool background stuff that gives the movie more depth.

Put your trust in the cow!!!!!!!!

The only HD release I’m looking forward to is Transformers. It’s available on HDDVD in the states now I think, and so hopefully we’ll see a release on the scene soon enough.

Releaselog better let us know when it’s available, or there’ll be trouble. :P :P :P

it’s watchably entertaining, but not scary, or atmospheric, or anything other then just watchable

I’m in the ‘I thought this movie was pretty cool’ camp. Something a bit different from your usual run-of-the-mill hack’n’slash boring horrors.
